Inko Midoriya Meets The League

Summary:

Things had been slowly changing for the League since Izuku Midoriya stumbled into their lives and saved one of their own. When the chance came to repay the hero for what he had done for them in the form of the kidnapped Inko Midoriya everyone was ready to save her.

They just never expected her to save herself first.

Or to find out that Inko was once a successful vigilante .... and she knows who? .... and what's this about her family?!

Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Chapter Text

Inko Midoriya was a woman of simple needs.

At the top of the list was a safe place for her and Izuku to live in.

Her job so that she could provide for them. Though on days when laws dating back to when quirks first emerged were entered in as evidence. Let’s just say that Inko was tempted to give up and retire. Though she knew she never would.

Her knitting.

And above all else, food.

Coming from one of those bad orphanages that you hear about on the news. Inko spent much of her childhood fighting for every last morsel of food she could get her hands on. She had starved daily and seen other kids her age starve to death all because of people's greed.

If not for … certain activities that led to a complete overhaul of the orphanage she had lived in, Inko was positive she wouldn’t be here today.

This is why when she was dragged into a van suddenly, and her groceries spilled out of the concrete, Inko felt rage. The only thing that stopped her from responding was the cloth being held over her face that sent her into tumbling into darkness.

Coming to was a slow process. It had been some time since someone could get the drop on Inko and knock her out like that. The taste of metal in her mouth gave Inko the unfortunate feeling that chloroform had been used.

Disgusting.

Sitting up slowly on the world's most revolting couch and Inko looked around to figure out where she was. It was a slow-going process since the room kept swaying slightly. But Inko persevered and stood up looking around to figure out where she was.

Judging from the rooms design itself she was in some sort of office. A large window was off to one side, gave the perfect view of large pieces of machinery down below.

Size, layout and her view of the outside led to only one conclusion. There was a good chance this place was used as some sort of factory at some time.

And that it was currently abandoned.

Standing up, Inko walked over to what remained of the desk and started investigating the draws. Most were empty, but luckily the bottom one held what she had been looking for. Pulling out an old utility knife from the way in the back, Inko starting making a plan.

The woman remembered two voices from when she had been taken. There was a good chance from her experience that the people who had taken Inko were not part of a larger group. That added to the abandoned factory she was being held in meant that they were either new to the villain game or didn’t have the backing of a larger group.

Inko’s lack of a guard, because let’s be honest here. If someone was supposed to be guarding Inko they would have burst in the second she started looking through the desk. Meant this was a small operation, the people holding her were probably trying to get to Izuku through her.

Inko took a deep breath ignoring the annoyed feeling of being underestimated as she went over what she knew so far.

Two, maybe three people at most were holding her captive.

They were amateurs or new. Because how cliché could an abandoned factory get.

Inko had no guard.

Her captures didn’t know Inko was awake.

Nor did they do their research into their target. If they, had they most certainly would have blindfolded Inko to prevent her from using her quirk.

Right now, Inko had the advantage of surprise, a weapon and her quirk if things went sideways.

But first thing was first.

Moving palms together to look like Inko was praying, the green-haired woman raised her hands above her and thrust downwards. It only took a few tries, but soon enough, the plastic zip ties broke, and Inko’s hands were free.

Grabbing the knife and a left-behind paperweight Inko slowly opened the door and snuck out of the office.

Her kidnappers would soon learn the dangers of messing with a former vigilante.
