Anyone could see that Steve Rogers had fallen for Tony Stark. Anyone could see that the man was preparing to ask the billionaire out, that he was so sure of a positive reception after the inventor broke up with Pepper.
Anyone could see it.
Except for Tony Stark himself.
Now Tony had had his fair share of lovers. He'd been with both men and women and he didn't really have a preference. He'd had a few committed relationships, some of which ended badly, some of which ended amicably.
He'd had a few… ill-advised relationships with people who ended up hurting him.
And JARVIS had watched it all.
JARVIS had seen all the relationships and heard about the few before he was created.
And in JARVIS' mind there were few who were good enough for sir.
But especially not Steve Rogers.
Just…
Anyone BUT Steve Rogers.
With sir's kind nature he would give the Captain a shot and the man would take an inch and run a mile with it.
JARVIS would not allow this to happen.
So the solution to the problem would be to have sir date anyone but Steve Rogers.
JARVIS could work with that.
