Chapter Text
A giant ship housing 200 crew members floating around in space was not something anyone on Earth could imagine happening in their lifetime.
However, with the brightest minds on I-Island and the Japanese, American, and Chinese governments pitching in on the joint project, a mere dream became a reality for the entire world.
Following All-Might's retirement after his famous battle with All for One, his successor Lemillion, took over as Earth's Symbol of Peace and apprehended the rest of the league of villains.
With that debut easing people's worries, scientists were free to continue working on advancing technology. Director Melissa Shield headed the construction and design of the first-ever advanced ship to be fit as space fairing in the last three hundred years. She wanted to work on a passion project everyone on earth could pitch in to together and to reach far beyond the stars, which led them to here and now.
"DEKU!!!" A familiar voice called out in anger, making a green-haired adult jump from reading a pamphlet about the Aurora's History.
"Ahh Kacchan!" The green-haired man screamed out as he dodged a quirk-powered explosion aimed at his head.
"Stay still you rat and I'll make this quick." A spiky blonde adult growled, glaring daggers at him.
"What did I do this time?" The green-haired man asked his childhood friend Bakugo Katsuki. 'Still find it hard to believe Kacchan only ranked 7 in the hero billboards.'
"You took the last fucking spicy curry from the cafeteria, now you must perish you fucking crook," Kacchan growled out, slowly stalking towards him, firing off mini explosions.
"I would like to perish today, but I need to do my job today and analyze our flight path and fix the generator again." The green-haired man sighed as he rubbed his head In exhaustion.
"I'll fucking kill Reggie later for doing a shitty job manning the generators, I am dealing with you today!" Bakugo barked, blasting himself forward.
"Bye Kacchan!" The green-haired man waved sheepishly as he decided his best option was to run away.
Ducking under said explosion, Izuku ran away into this giant maze the scientist called a ship. It was a fantastic masterpiece built by many quirks, and scientists from around the world, with the latest technology assisting them thanks to Melissa Shield.
Running through the halls, crew members could only laugh or sigh from seeing him being chased again through the ship. It was a common occurrence throughout the 10 months Izuku has been stuck on this ship with Kacchan.
Passing a familiar purple haired man, Izuku wanted to say hi, but the death glare he felt on the back of his head reminded him it wasn't a good time. 'Why can't I ever introduce myself to Shinsou without something happening.'
Running towards his room, Izuku calculated that he wasn't going to make it in time, so he chose his second best option.
Ducking into the Woman's quarters, Izuku opened a door and quickly slammed it shut calling out. "Uraraka hide me!"
"Ah! Izuku I'm half naked!" His best friend Uraraka blushed, covering herself with a towel seeing as she just got out of a shower.
"I don't care, I'm gay, please hide me!" Midoriya panicked as he heard explosions drawing closer.
"Hide in the bathroom again." Uraraka sighed pointing at the empty bathroom.
"Thank you!" Izuku thanked, as he hid behind the door waiting for a familiar knock.
*Knock knock*
"Coming!" Uraraka called out rushing towards the door now wearing a T-shirt.
"Did that fucking nerd weasel his way in here?" He heard Kacchan growl out.
"Not today, and why are you blasting your quirk again in the hallways after him again?" Uraraka asked.
"I didn't damage shit this time Round face, and besides that nerd took the last fucking spicy curry!" Kacchan growled out.
"... He is in the bathroom." Uraraka suddenly spoke.
"Uraraka why!" Izuku called out from the sudden betrayal.
"You don't take a person's food Izuku, and just last week you took the last mochi from the cafeteria and I am still salty about that!" Uraraka smiled at him innocently.
"I told you it was Reggie!" Izuku whined out, as he was being dragged away from the legs with a grinning pomeranian.
"Thanks round cheeks, I owe you one." Bakugo spoke softer than usual as he continued walking past her.
"Just make sure he is back by dinner, I wanted to watch another anime with him." Uraraka stated as she gave Midoriya a soft smile waving at him as she closed the door.
"I can't believe this, my best friend betrayed me for mochi! I didn't even eat it, it was fucking Reggie's fault." Midoriya whined, as he was being dragged around on the newly polished floor.
"Don't care, I will avenge my spicy curry." Bakugo grinned menacingly, as Izuku gulped from his potential doom.
Ever since U.A kacchan has changed for the better, as while they weren't friends anymore from the past years of bullying, they were now brothers that deeply hated and cared for each other. 'Still can't believe mom remarried for uncle and auntie… not complaining it is just weird.'
With Eraserhead as kacchan's teacher, and his kidnapping against the league of villains that ended All-Might's career, kacchan has done more self reflecting than ever, and while he hasn't apologized, he has shown regret.
On the other hand, Uraraka was now his best friend as they both failed the U.A entrance exam and ended up in Gen ed together in Class 1-D. She was Izuku's first friend and helped him from bullies, and hated Kacchan when they were first years.
During the festival, both of them and another Gen Ed student made it towards the tournament but there were sadly only 2 spots available for the hero course. Izuku knew Uraraka's reason for being a hero, and couldn't bring himself to be the reason for taking another student's hard earned spot he worked by himself.
So Midoriya withdrew from the competition, and just like that, he failed to be a hero. Everyone was right, as he was just another quirkless failure from his old school aldera to the Symbol of peace All-Might.
Staring out the window as he was being dragged around through space, Midoriya wondered to himself.
'Society never wanted me in their world, and now here I am looking for other worlds for a place to belong.'
It was truly poetic, and while he wanted to say he was fine with this outcome, he wasn't fine at all. 'The only people that kept me from going insane were Uraraka, Mei, and my Parents.'
"Kacchan, have you heard any news from Mei today?" Midoriya asked as he was still being dragged to who knows we're.
"That crazy bitch? I heard she blew up a lab again for messing with a repulsion cannon." Bakugo spoke, making Izuku groan again.
"Do I have to pick her up from the detention cell again? I swear I'm grounding her for a week if her tab is increased back on my pay." Midoriya groaned from the potential debt they are in.
"Why do you put up with her again?" Kacchan asked, glaring at him.
"She used to be my roommate, after she got into some debt issues before Alterra selected her for her experience with Quirk devices like the propulsion cannon, Stasis Rifle, and her most famous invention the Scanner." Midoriya replied in a monotonic voice as he was used to explaining why he was her friend.
Izuku loved his roommate but she was a pain In the ass and a leech in his financial life, but he cared for her like a little sister. She even got him into engineering to distract him from his lowest point of giving up heroics and broadening his job choices.
*BOOM*
Suddenly a quirk powered smack, knocked him out of his depressing state as reality came back, and he was now in the middle of… oh god!
"Kacchan! Why bring me here! This is literal hell!" Izuku whined, as all around him were training equipment he gave up on.
"You have been sitting in that fucking room of yours for the past 2 weeks only leaving for Round cheeks, Crazy bitch, or the stupid Job. You need to excercise you fucking moron." Kacchan growled, shoving him towards the treadmill.
"Couldn't you have just killed me!" Izuku whined as Kacchan started up the cursed device.
"I would, but round cheek wants you alive." Bakugo huffed as Izuku smirked.
"Careful kacchan, your softness showing, would be a shame if I told Uraraka." Izuku chuckled as Bakugo blushed before slamming the speed up button.
"Perish you fucking gremlin." Bakugo grinned as the device started going faster.
"I am sorry, slow it down, please! I won't tell Uraraka!" Izuku called out trying not to lose speed and get flung towards the wall.
"Invite me for your anime night, and I'll consider slowing it down." Bakugo grinned watching Izuku suffer.
"How dare you exploit our friendship like that! Anime nights are our thing! No boys allowed!" Izuku huffed ,feeling his legs killing him.
"You're a boy too." Kacchan spoke giving him a dead panned stare.
"I'll have you know I'm an honorary girl thanks to Mei and Uraraka." Izuku gasped, losing air in his lungs.
"Then perish you little bitch." Bakugo grinned, slamming the speed up button again.
"I hate you!" Izuku wailed as he was flung towards the wall from the insane speed of the treadmill.
Feeling tired, Izuku chose to stare at the stars as they neared another planet a few days away. The Aurora was hoping to scan for a livable world for potential resource, attraction, and to set up a new gateway thanks to the villain Kurogiri's warping capabilities being studied as teleportation was slowly being mastered.
'Planet 4546B, something in my gut tells me something interesting will happen there.'
