It was a normal weekend in the Todoroki household.
As normal as it can get in said Todoroki household.
"SHOUTOOO!" As the father of the three children announced his presence the children merely flinched before turning towards where Endeavour had come in from.
"Yes Father?" Shouto said in his usual monotone vocals as he tilted his head in mild confusion as to what has happened this time. Is it training again? We trained yesterday though since it was Saturday and I have to attend U.A tomorrow as well..
"I have hero work tomorrow and I won't be able to attend class 2-A's sparring since hero work came up and I won't be here for a week. It was requested by U.A staff that we pro heroes checked up on you hero in training students and a few were able to attend, I still wanted to have someone observe you to make sure my masterpiece isn't failing or slacking hero work without me around." Endeavor looked at Shouto who just looked bored, he narrowed his eyes at the gesture. "You're not falling behind are you Shouto?"
"No i'm not Father, can I ask who's chaperoning me during U.A instead of you?" Shouto said as he flipped through another page of his book waiting for his old man's answer. He was indeed curious as to who his old man would deem worthy enough to replace him during U.A.
"My mother is going to be attending instead of myself, you've already met her so I don't expect you two to mess anything up, correct Shouto?" Endeavor said crossing his arms as he let out a scoff, he knew those two get along fine and he can't do anything about it since his mother enjoys him and he has a slight feeling his mother may like his masterpiece more.
The mere mention of the name makes Shouto's eyes light up before he composes himself. "Oba-san is coming with me?" Shouto said with a hint of excitement laced into his usual monotone voice.
Tch, of course he's happy she lets my masterpiece get away with anything when he's suppose to be training! Endeavor narrowed his eyes and rolled them before he scoffed, "don't get so happy Shouto we'll be doing extra training when I get back from my mission in the mean time she will arrive in about 15 minutes so get ready. I'll be going now, don't fail me Shouto."
Endeavor then made his way to the door way and headed out as he saw a limousine pull into the driveway.
Needless to say Shouto was happy.
Happy that he didn't have to train for a week.
Happy that his old man is gone for a week.
Happy that Oba-san is coming.
You see not many things or people in general make him happy and that's something that a lot of people can agree with, including himself.
Oba-san was definitely in the list of people he liked, that list wasn't very long. At all. She overall was a good person and sure she has his old man's looks and personality she also was different, and he loved that different. He always despised his old man and still does, even in U.A he refused to refuse his power all through his first year. Well, until Oba-san came.
("Don't you have Enji's quirk or whateva' too, neva' seen you use it, the ice is impressive on it's own but ya got your own limits kid." Oba-san to him before taking another bite of their shared bowl of soba, his old man wasn't home and his siblings were busy so Oba-san told them they needed to bond in what she called this 'boring ass house hold'.
"I don't like my old man's quirk." Shouto said simply before picking up another portion of the soba and slurping it down.
"Well guess what kid, it's my quirk not my son's, I birthed that troubemaka' it's my quirk my works. Sure it may be different quirks but ya know that Lava makes fire right ya little genius? That means it's my quirk and i've passed my genes to ya and you're gonna show them how it's fuckin' done because you're Shouto Todoroki and your my badass grandson. So fuckin' say it, Oba-san gave Shouto her badass quirk and i'm gonna use my fire from Oba-san." Oba-san let a smug look on her face as she finished her speech off raising and eyebrow at Shouto waiting for his response.
"....Oba-san gave Shouto her- I don't think i'm suppose to say the curse words-" "I don't give a damn if Enji said you're not allowed to curse go on." "Ah ok..Oba-san gave Shouto her bad...ass quirk and i'm gonna........use my fire from Endea- Oba-san..." Shouto let a smile tug his lips tug into a small smile.
"Oba-san what are you- doing Oba-shan why are chu squeezing ma cheeks...?" Shouto flushed as the rest of his words were muffled.
"Look at cha' my grandson's so pretty aren't cha you got ya mom's and my genes." Oba-san let a genuine smile tug her cheeks, "you're gonna be a great hero Shouto." Oba-san kissed his forehead letting her red lipstick implant on his forehead before standing up and taking the nearly empty bowl of soba to the kitchen. "Get ready I bought some board games we can play consider your ass beat from the champion herself." Oba-san said as she went to grab her board games.
Shouto let a smile appear on his lips and lightly chuckled, "we'll see about that Oba-san.")
Yea, they got close pretty fast, it was nice being close to a family member, now don't get him wrong his friends were great but he never did get to see his siblings often as a kid so they never got close. He was close with mom but, accidents happen. So Oba-san was probably currently his closest family member and the rest of the Todoroki house hold couldn't even deny that they were close.
Needless to say U.A was surprised when out of no where Shouto started to use his left side without any warnings. Hell, even Endeavor was surprised, when his old man asked why, Oba-san answered for him.
("Have you finally stopped your rebellious ways and decide to use my gift Shouto?" He heard his old man say as they had a rare family dinner, without Mom[and Touya] of course.
Just as Shouto was about to respond his Oba-san was already speaking. "You mean my gift? Remember Enji I birthed you my quirk, therefore whoeva' the hell else has any red whether it be hair, quirk, blue eyes in this house hold is passed down from ya mother." Oba-san smiled smugly as she glanced at Enji's angry expression before smiling at the kids and returning to eating.)
Shouto perked up at the sound of the door opening at he stood up and made his way to the door.
"There's my favorite Todoroki, c'mere Shou give Oba-san a hug." She said as she placed he purse down and opened her arms as the duo haired Todoroki gently placed himself in her arms as she hugged him and ruffled his neatly split hair into a fluffy red, white, and small hints of pink where it overlapped.
"Hi Oba-san." Shouto said as he let a subtle smile tug his lips gently moving himself out of her hold.
"Get ready we're going to get some Boba you need to live a little I reserved us a place so people won't be all ove' us." His Oba-san said as she patted his head and picked up her purse. "Here Shou I bought cha' an outfit from my modeling thought you'd like it, it may have a few holes here and there just know that's how it was designed." She took and neatly folded outfit and handed it to Shouto before sitting on the couch to wait.
"Thank you Oba-san." Shouto said before making his way to the bathroom to change.
In all honestly he knew what his Oba-san meant by 'a few holes' and exactly why she was doing it, not that he was complaining.
His Oba-san had found out what her son was doing and was furious, though his old man did not know he told her what was happening either. With that she did the simplest things to piss her son off. This being one of them, when she goes to her modeling agency she makes sure to find crop tops, jeans with holes, hell even fish nets that made his old man go feral.
Shouto honestly enjoyed the outfits, it was a change from his old mans tight tank tops and hot clothes. It was loose and light which worked for him. Then his Oba-san decided to take it up a notch to see how pissed her son could really get over clothes.
("Oba-san I think this is it, this is the end of the world." Shouto said as he looked in the full body mirror, yea this was the end of the world. Honestly he didn't hate the outfit, not at all actually. Here he was in a velvet red crop top with a leather jacket that went to his thighs, Oba-san topped that off with fish net leggings and a simple black and red skirt, she had connected some chains on his belt as well. If that wasn't enough to piss her son off, then this sure was, because little did his old man know Oba-san has took him to get a nose ring on the side of his nose, turns out all he needed was guardian permission with him since he was still underage. She washed his hair and ruffled it while wet and brushed it out and put curlers into it so it had a fluffy aspect to it and even felt soft. With that, they were ready to go show the man himself.
They both casually walked down the hall and Natsuo's face dropped and Fuyumi looked frantic as she went to look at her dad's expression. Shouto simply walked to the kitchen aware of the stares but not pointing it out and acting normally as he fixed himself some soba. Oba-san simply gave her son a smirk before leaning on the kitchen island resting her arms there.
Endeavor...wasn't looking to good to say the least, first he looked like he'd seen a ghost, then after to coming to a realization of what he just saw because he did NOT just see his masterpiece in such attire with A NOSE RING.
"SHOUTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!")
So he wasn't surprised when he pulled out the outfit. It was fish net leggings that also came with white jeans, it was paired with a short sleeve crop top neutral orange hoodie, it also appeared that she got him another colored nose ring, it was a simple orange that matched the hoodie color. He put on the outfit and put in the nose ring than headed down the hall way to Oba-san.
"Of course ya pull off every damn color of the rainbow. Ya look like a badass softie now c'mon let's go." Teka stood up then made her way to the door with Shouto trailing behind.
Normally Shouto would do his normal routine, eat, shower, brush his teeth etc. per usual. Of course since Oba-san's here within her habit of modeling she would do as much as she could with U.A's uniform policy.
She curled his hair back to it's once fluffy form, added a small blue nose ring, then a small sliver of eyeliner that she made sure was made that it wouldn't be affected with his quirk.
"Alright let's head to the train station so you can get to class and I can get to the field." Oba-san announced as she finished off his subtle look but it made a difference to his normal. Teka was already prepared in simple leggings with a dress shirt and a belt around her waist.
With that, they made their way to U.A.
Shouto wasn't surprised with all the widened eyes as he passed in the hallway, I mean who wouldn't be when class 1-A's proclaimed pretty boy came in with a whole new look from him normal one.
As soon as he opened the door to his classroom he could see as all their eyes went to him, he simply made his way to his seat and sat down, eventually he looked up to meet their eyes of shock.
Even when a minute later Aizawa entered the room their eyes did not falter.
Aizawa got the classes attention when he cleared his throat.
Mineta didn't pay no mind though since apparently he had bigger problems.
"THIS ISN'T FAIR HOW DID HE GET PRETTIER HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO GET THE LADIES NOW!" Mineta wailed putting the attention back onto Todoroki.
Just great Todoroki thought.
"Since when did you start dressing up dude! C'mon we're trying here and then you go all out on us at least give us a chance at the ladies! WAIT IS THAT A NOSE RING!" Denki added.
Oba-san why... Todoroki sighed then just looked to Aizawa hoping he would just start the lesson.
Aizawa had the nerve to go to his sleeping bag to sleep before their outside training.
Todoroki glared at Aizawa before giving a sigh of defeat to respond to Denki. "I've been dressing up for a while I guess, a relative of mine just made me switch it up in U.A as well, the nose ring I had got on my birthday in the beginning of this year I just don't wear my nose rings at school. Does that answer your question?" Todoroki said just wanting the attention off of him.
"You look awesome Todobro that's so manly!" Kirishima sent a thumbs up his way.
"HE'S PRETTIER AND CUTER!" A proud Mina exclaimed.
Of course fucking Icy Hot can look better thought he was fucking gorgeous before now he's a fucking angel goddammit Shou Bakugou thought as he gave a glance at his dual haired boyfriend then looked away before his tinted pink cheeks became permanent and the extras noticed because, no he's not hopelessly in love with said dual user nor in a secret relationship so fuck off.
Todoroki caught a glance of his boyfriends tinted cheeks before chuckling and thinking to himself, You don't even know the rest of it Katsuki.
The rest of the class shared their opinions and for the rest of class period they all went off into their groups to talk.
Todoroki changed into his hero costume having to be aware of his now fluffy hair, they were getting ready for sparring practice and pro heroes were coming to observe our progress, some of them just wanted to see us.
Todoroki walked to the field as the rest of the class entered the field as well.
Then Oba-san came out. On her way to him.
The only staff that new about her was Aizawa, Nedzu who was sitting in Aizawa's scarf, Midnight to warn her about the class perverts, and the rest here being Hawks, Cementoss, Mirko and All Might which only got notified that Endeavor has a sudden mission and couldn't make it. Even the staff that knew she was coming didn't exactly know her relationship with the Todoroki's and neither Todoroki really said anything.
"Who's the hot lady over there?!" Mineta exclaimed pointing to Teka while drooling.
"Endeavor has a mission to attend to so he sent her in now get to practice." Aizawa said as he went to explain the groups and activities.
As the class was resting Denki being on the floor and some with him, I few leaning on the wall Todoroki included, then the rest on the bench. The pro heroes we're just watching the class catch their breath.
Teka in the mean time had pulled out a water bottle from her work out purse she bought along and tied her hair into a quick messy bun before starting a light jog to over where the class was which was a medium distance away since they were using their quirks. The pro heroes looked at her confused as she made her way over and the class also started noticing Teka on her way over to the class Mineta started drooling and walking his way over when a tired Sero quickly used his tape to grab Mineta before he could get anywhere near her.
Teka went from the light jog to a simple walk over towards the bi-colored Todoroki.
"No fair why does he get all the ladies!" Mineta whined while Teka made a simple 'tch' before focusing her attention on Shouto.
"Give me your right hand." Teka stated.
Shouto blinked for a couple seconds before giving his Oba-san his hand.
She placed the water bottled in his hand and held it there before instructing him to activate his ice quirk and he listened.
Once Teka felt the bottle was cold enough she lifted the bottle out of his hand and opened it.
"Open your mouth Shou." Teka instructed while leaning his head back and she began pouring and now cold water into his mouth she waited a bit before pulling the bottle back then she started to pour a small amount into his hair.
"Oba-san it's cold.." Shouto said but he couldn't deny the cold water felt nice in the blazing heat.
"That's the point." His Oba-san started to lightly pull his hair and ruffling it letting the water help make it fluffy as during training it got messed up.
Class 1-A stared wide eyed at the scene and some of the eyes bulged out when they heard their classmate call the woman his Oba-san.
"HOLY SHIT THAT'S YOUR GRANDMA!" A wide eyed Kamanari exclaimed.
"KAMANARI LANGUAGE!" A once wide eyed Iida now back into focus exclaimed.
"Oh I didn't tell you?" The dual hair user asked in a hushed tone as he started to lean into the hair still fluffy his hair at this point his hair was already fluffy and his Oba-san was just playing with it, not that he minded it.
"No!" Exclaimed several voices of which he couldn't identify.
"Oh, okay." Shouto went back to leaning into his Oba-san's touch.
The pro heroes had made their way over as the class was finding out about the lava haired woman being a Todoroki and the hero in training's grandma.
They were shocked but some weren't as surprised, it wasn't that hard to see the resemblance.
"I'm guessing you were the one that did Young Todoroki's new style today!" A smiling All might appeared.
"Yea this isn't our first time would have put him in an outfit too but eh school uniforms." Teka said in a bored tone as she continued playing with Shouto's hair.
"Well Ms. Todoroki you're in luck because tomorrow officially starts a no uniform week for this class I think you students deserve a bit of freedom once in a while right Nedzu?" All Might announced.
"I don't see any harm in it so go ahead as long as you can still fight in it that should be fine." Nedzu said with a small smile.
"Alright change back into uniform and get to the rest of your classes." Aizawa announced already making his way to the entrance to wait.
They finished their classes and instead of going to the dorms they went to head home to prepare outfits for their week of no uniforms.
Shouto was on his way to the exit when he was pulled to the side and he looked and saw his boyfriend Katsuki.
He didn't get a chance to speak as he was pulled into a gentle kiss then he watched his boyfriend bolt away.
Before his boyfriend was out of his sight he heard Katsuki mutter, "Stupidly cute Icy Hot bastard."
A small smiled appeared and his cheeks became a light pink, he took a couple of breaths to hopefully cool down his flushed cheeks then walked out to meet Oba-san.
"C'mon Shou we got some outfits to pick out." He looked over and saw Oba-san with a smug smile on her face.
Well this week was sure gonna be different.
