Midoriya chuckled and clicked out of the tab. It was so basic and was criminally lacking in information. Iida would be furious when he found out that his rank was still C. He'd killed at least five people in the last week and had even made them look like accidents. "He deserves a B at least," Midoriya muttered. "At least mine was good." His original ranking of a C class villain enraged him. If he was going to be a villain, he was going to be the BEST villain and he'd do whatever it takes to get that top spot.
The door behind him opened and a girl with round cheeks and a dazzling smile stepped in. Her short brown hair was bloodied and had bits of gravel stuck in it, and her t-shirt was ripped. One of her eyes was swollen shut and she was holding a small trash bag. Despite her injuries, she appeared happy, a dopey grin stretched across her dirty face. She dumped its contents onto the floor, revealing at least 20 thousand dollars in cash. Midoriya raised an eyebrow at her. The mission was supposed to be low-key, and this was anything but. He decided to ignore that and focus on her.
Midoriya gestured to her eye. "What happened."
Ochako chuckled. "Some jerk in the alleyway jumped me." Midoriya knew exactly how that situation played out. The person got one good hit on her before she activated her quirk. The attacker was probably just a pile of broken bones and punctured organs. He put the money back in the bag before taking Ochakos hand.
"Let's get you fixed up."
"Such a gentleman." She cooed. "Am I the first one back today?" Midoriya nodded. "Any news for me?"
"Oh, thanks for reminding me. Toga sent a package." He walked over and retrieved something from a nearby closet. He brought over a small package wrapped in newspapers. Ochako took it from him and ripped it open, revealing a small box. She carefully opened it and pulled out a steel necklace with a small vial attached to it. A red liquid sloshed around inside it. Midoriya raised an eyebrow. "How . . . Sweet."
Ochako grinned and slipped the necklace on. It was long and could easily be hidden in her shirt if necessary. She seemed to appreciate it, so Midoriya didn't press any further. "Did you Run into any problems while you were out?"
"Nope," She exclaimed proudly while fiddling with her new necklace. "Nobody noticed a thing. I was just some lowly worker handing out drinks. Do you think the others are doing okay?"
"Shoto's the only one we should be worried about." He said with a sigh. "You know Asui and Tenya will be fine, but Shoto might have a bit of trouble." Ochako hummed in agreement, remembering his sour mood from breakfast."He's having a bad day. Hopefully, he'll feel better when everyone gets back. Now please sit so I can clean you up."
Ochako sat down on the couch, making sure not to get any blood on them. Midoriya cleaned and disinfected any open wounds. Then he checked to see if her black eye had caused any serious damage. Once he was sure that it was a bruise he gave her an eye pack for the swollen eye and started applying creams to some of the more serious bruises. He estimated that they would be mostly gone in a couple of days. Once he was done, she stretched her arms and stood up.
"I'm going to watch a movie. You coming?" She asked.
"No thanks, I have some more things I need to check on." Ochako rolled her eyes. She knew he was just surfing the internet.
Friendly Arsonist: Sent Photo Of Todoroki Shouto standing next to a burning building during the night

CoffeeAddict27: Seriously?

CoffeeAddict27: that is how I feel when I read your name
EndeavorsTits: my name is beautiful stfu.
MitchtheBitch: endeavor would kill you if he saw your name.
MitchtheBitch: Anyways I'm not a villain sympathizer, but I still dislike him. I think he did something to his kids.
Friendly Arsonist: hes a little biatch.
EndeavorsTits: just because I like his tits doesn't mean I like him
Midoriya snickered upon reading these posts. One of his favorite pastimes was going through true crime communities and reading what fans had to say bout their groups. He switched tabs and scrolled down one of the many fan pages that had been appearing over the past two years. Todoroki had the most with him as a close second. Even Asui was starting to pick up fans, which was surprising considering her lack of media coverage. Midoroya clicked on her only fan page and snorted upon seeing a crappy photo from security footage.
He clicked onto her another tab which was opened onto YouTube. He'd been checking his favorite channel, Villanous Deep dives, for new updates. They were his favorite channel by far.
A year ago they'd posted their first video about the Fallen Heros. Midoriya Izuku Analysis. It was two hours long and Midoriya had watched every single minute of it. She'd gone over everything, the discrimination, the bullying, the desperation, the crushed dreams and . . what he could have been. She was unbiased and told things as it was, talking critically about both sides. She never condoned their actions, but she always made sure to explain them. The line that had cemented her as his favorite YouTuber came partway through his analysis.
"Every reliable source talks about how Midoriya was obsessed with All Might and becoming a hero. It's a piece of his history that is often ignored due to future events. Midoriya Izuku dreamed of being the first Quirkless hero and had the ambition and dedication to achieve it. If we as a society had been more open-minded to the idea of a quirkless hero, we might be dealing with a hero in the top tens instead of an S rank villain."(earlier in the villain she'd explained why he was an S rank and not the officially given A)
Soon after that more videos appeared. Todoroki's video was also two hours long and talked about unfair expectations and fixed futures. Ochako's was an hour and a half and went over financial issues, and why most heroes came from wealthy families. Iida's was shorter at only 30 minutes and talked about revenge and how it can warp the brain. Tsuyu didn't even get an analysis and was instead given a brief overview of all that was known. Midoriya didn't hold this against her since there was so little information about the frog villain and what turned her.
He finally clicked off the tab and leaned back. Somewhere in the hideout, a door opened. He stood up from his chair and walked to his doorway then down the hall into the main room. Their hideout was a partly submerged two-story house with the entrance and kitchen on the top floor, and the bedrooms, main room, and bathrooms on the second floor. The third floor was a library and Midoriya's workspace.
A pair of fancy shoes slowly descended the stairs, revealing a well-built man with glasses and combed dark blue hair. Both hands were gloved, hiding his real and robotic hand. Unlike Ochako, he wasny smiling his face staying completely neutral and unscathed.
Iida held up a mechanical hand and waved, giving Midoroya a warm smile. "I'm assuming today went well." The green-haired villain remarked. Iida nodded and started signing something back. It went well. No casualties or betrayals. He paused, suddenly looking worried. I saw something troublesome in the news.
The door slammed open and the temperature spiked. Heavy footsteps ran down the stairs, and an enraged and on fire Todoroki nearly slammed into Iida. He reached the bottom step and let out a horrible scream of frustration and anguish that he'd probably been holding for a while. Midoriya took a step back worried. Behind him, Iida began signing again. His father made a statement. There were many lies.
Todoroki continued to yell and began punching the brick walls, splitting the skin of his knuckles. Blood splattered against the wall and small pieces stuck to the open wounds. The firey boy remained unbothered by the pain and continued to punch. Midoriya silently stepped forward and held out his hands. Todorki's flames heightened, nearly reaching the ceiling. Midoriya continued to move forward, now dangerously close to the fire. The dual powered villain suddenly looked up at the approaching boy, his face twisted with rage. The flames were now licking at Midoriya's fingers. One more step and they would begin to burn. Todoroki's expression morphed into one of fear.
The flames quickly fizzled out and Todoroki fell to his knees. He could never hurt Midoriya like that. Still a hero at heart. Midoriya thought to himself.
Todoroki eyes welled with and his ruined hands twitched against his thighs."My dad wrote about me." He whispered." He acted like I was doomed from the start and said that . . that there was always something wrong with me and that he tried to fix me."
Iida scoffed behind him while simultaneously signing. How Typical.
Midoriya kneeled next to Todoroki. "Hey, I know it may be hard to believe since he's gotten away with a bunch of stuff, but his word is not always taken as the truth. There are many inconsistencies with that statement that can easily be disproved by other sources." Todoroki sighed and nodded. "And if Endeavors willing to spout easily disproven lies it means he's getting desperate . . . and scared." This got him a toothy grin. Midoriya leaned forward and pressed their foreheads together. The green haired villain cupped his cheeks and wiped away the tears with with his thumb. "He doesn't know a single thing about you." He whispered to Todoroki. "He never has, and never will." They pulled apart, both with smiles on their faces.
The freckled boy helped his boyfriend up and patted him on the back. "There's some food in the fridge. Take it easy tonight. Go into the practice room if you need to punch something." Todoroki quietly thanked Midoriya before heading towards the kitchen to find something to eat. Once he was gone, Iida began to sign again, going over more details from his mission.
I heard from Shinsou. He gave me a few names. Said that they were planning on finding our base. He wasn't worried but thought I should know. Bakugo has also started to suspect Mei of working with us, so she has requested that one of us fake an attack on her. Midoriya pulled out his notebook and started writing some of these things down for later. He put Attacking Mei in the slightly urgent and very important section. They'd have to do that sometime this month.
Is Asui home yet? Iida asked.
"No, she should be back soon though."
Okay, I'll get started on dinner. Iida patted him on the shoulder before heading off to start dinner. Midoriya headed back to his room, wanting to find out exactly what Endeavor had said.
He decided reading a transcript would be less rage-inducing than listening to it.
Endeavor: He used to kill cats when he was little. At first, I thought it was an accident, but it kept happening.
Interviewer: People usually say that Shouto was very kind when he was younger and was well behaved up until the incident. What you're saying goes against what others have said. Are you saying that they're lying?
Endeavor: Shouto was a good actor. He'd pretend to be sweet, then when it just me and him, or his mother and him, he would yet have look. He looked so angry like he wanted to hurt us. I think Rei realized that he couldn't be fixed and that's why she poured the water on him. She's afraid of him.
Interviewer: Your wife has previously said that Shouto was a sweet boy and that she deeply regrets what she did to him.
Endeavor: She's in a mental hospital. It's impossible to know if she's telling the truth. She may remember it differently, but that doesn't stop it from being true. And you saw what he did when he was older. She's probably in denial
Interviewer. What do you think about his companions? You've said before that they're criminals and need to be put away, but I'm curious about how you feel about their association with Shouto.
Endeavor: The leader one, Midoriya or whatever he goes-
Interviewer: His alias is the Quirk Doctor.
Endeavor: Whatever. Midoriya knew him for awhile, i first met the kid when Shouto was 13. I thought he was weak upon seeing him and I still believe it. I hate him the most. I hate the others equally. If it wasn't for them Shouto might have just been another petty criminal,
He clicked off. There was an unfathomable amount of bullshit being spewed every time he spoke. He went to his board and moved killing Endeavor from the important but not urgent category to the important and slightly urgent category. At least the interviewer didn't seem to believe him. He'd already seen multiple posts and videos criticizing his story and the inconsistencies within it. He also saw a surprising amount of people who just believed it. Reading through each post was torture, yet Midoriya forced himself through it. The rage boiled within him and darkened his thoughts.
This is why the world needs to be purged of its illness. Midoriya thought bitterly. They're a hive mind, they never think things through. I wonder what they'll do when Endeavors nothing more than a head on a table. I'll make them afraid of me and I'll make them fight for themselves.
He pushed himself up and walked over the board. There was a familiar tingle that made him want to plan and strategize. His eyes wandered to the Important and urgent category. Prepare for Fair Disruption. He began murmuring go himself, trying to figure out what would make the biggest impact. Every option would lead to many casualties, but it was a price that Midoriya deemed nessecary
Someone knocked on the door. "Come in." He called.
It opened and a tired-looking Asui walked in. "She's downstairs. It wasn't very hard to get her ribbit." She walked in and collapsed onto his bed, curling into herself. It had been a chilly day out, which probably made her job harder. Midoriya sat down next to her and pulled the blankets over her. Her fingernails were worn and bloodied from picking and her eyes were unfocused. She was seconds from drifting away into her own world. He laid down next to her and looked up at the ceiling. They laid there for a few seconds. The familiar hollowness started to return and he sat back up.
"Sorry, I just need to do something." He mumbled.
Asui cast him a worried glance. "Have you been online all day, ribbit? I don't think reading all that stuff about us is good for you." Midoriya shrugged with a nervous giggle. She stared right through him, seeing every insecurity and doubt. He couldn't help looking back, staring into her jet black eyes. A haunted feeling came over him and he shivered, hurriedly looking away.
"I assure you I'm fine. It's Shotou we should be worried about." Asui narrowed her eyes and pulled the blanket over her head. The smile fell from Midoriyas face and he quickly left the room. As soon as he stepped into the hallway the smell of cooking meat hit him. Iida was probably almost done with dinner.
There's not enough time to go down to the lab then. I'll have to do it after dinner.
He walked into the kitchen and started opening cupboards, looking for something to calm him down a bit. Tsuyu seemed to always know how to get him thinking. He pulled out a small thing of rum and a shot glass. He downed one shot and then another, cringing as it burned. Someone brushed up against him and pulled out another glass. Iida poured himself a shot. They both knew they were too young to be drinking, but they'd already broken so many laws, it didn't really matter at this point. The drink tasted terrible to Midoriya, and he quickly filled his glass with some water to get rid of the taste.
Iida's hand clamped down on his shoulder pulling Midoriya closer so their sides were pressed together. He relaxed into the awkward side hug and poured himself another glass, cringing as he drank. Iida took the bottle away and put it back into the cupboard. They couldn't afford to get more drunk than this. Midoriya rested his head against Iida's shoulder and sighed. "Oh Iida, what would we do without you."Iida shrugged.
After a minute of silent comforting, Iida tugged on Midoriyas ear before leaving to set up the table. The clattering of plates being set brought the other two members from their rooms and into the kitchen.
Ochako was dressed in a ratty pair of sweatpants and a tank top, while Todoroki was dressed in one of her pastel t-shirts and his own grey sweatpants. The shirt was way too small and looked like a crop top. He must have burnt his own. Midoriya reasoned. Iida started putting the food on plates while Ochako looked around. "Tsuyu's not coming?"
"She's tired," Midoroya explained. "Looking good Shouto." Todoroki struck a pose, his face remaining completely serious. Iida chuckled. Wanting more of that reaction, Todoroki strutted towards Iida until their faces were inches apart. Iida looked like he either about to scream or burst out laughing. Todoroki narrowed his eyes.
"I'm fabulous bitch." Iida broke down into giggles and turned away, hiding his face with a hand. The remaining three villains shared a knowing glance. Iida's laugh was a rare and beautiful thing and the other three villains were immeadiatly entranced by it. Mei was a lucky girl. The laughter quickly spread to the others, and soon all four of them were giggling at a joke that wasn't even that funny. It took almost five minutes for everyone to settle down.
The foods going to get cold. They took their seats at the table and began to eat, discussing random nom-work related things. It was so nice and normal, you almost couldn't tell that they were a table of villains.
Almost.
