No one knows when the Endeavour petition showed up online. Many people speculated the petition to have been made by some villains who were bored and needed money. Others thought it was a joke and many donated because of that thinking. But that was far from the truth.
The real creator of the Endeavor petition was actually a member of the Hell Class by the name Midoriya Izuku. It was made way back, the day after the sports festival. Midoriya was pissed and also searching for ways to bring Endeavor down and expose the truth. Midoriya had a way with computers, he could hack very well due to his mom being a vigilante in her days. He was quite surprised to see that Nedzu had no clue of him being a hacker.
Although he could hack well, he needed a few new materials. Unfortunately, his mother wouldn’t let him hack into bank accounts even though he definitely could so he instead started the Endeavor petition. He hadn’t expected much to come out of it but an anonymous user donated $1000 to it.
“What.” was Izuku’s reaction. Shortly after, he started screaming and his mom came to ask what was happening before screaming with him. Izuku bought new tech with the money and started to hack camera after camera for evidence. The petition would only grow bit by bit as time went by, people donating a few cents or dollars as a joke.
What caused the petition to blow up was a massive donation from the famed group, the League of Villains. It hit the news immediately and people were demanding to meet the petition owner. Izuku didn’t hear about it until the middle of the class when his mom started calling him frantically. At first Izuku just ignored his buzzing phone but soon got annoyed when it continued to buzz. He made eye contact with Aizawa who was already sighing.
Aizawa motioned for him to put the phone on speaker and Izuku groaned inwardly. He answers his mom and puts his phone on speaker just as his mom started screaming into the phone.
“Izuku!” His mom yells. Izuku’s heart starts to beat faster, thinking his mom was in trouble but is immediately calmed when he hears her laugh out loud. “You did it baby! You surpassed the goal!” Izuku gasps loudly and switches to the petition site. He sees that his petition raised past $50,000 and he immediately cheers.
The reason for the high money goal is that Izuku knew it was going to take a lot of money to be able to bring Endeavor to court, as well as hiring a good lawyer and technology for himself. The two cheer together, the class around him joining in the cheering confused before they finally hang up.
Izuku looks around the room to see that they were all looking at him curiously and Izuku blushes. He goes to sit down but Todoroki clears his throat. “Midoriya, would you happen to be the creator of the Endeavor petition?” Izuku blushes and the class falls silent.
“No way dude.” Kirishima says. Mina immediately falls off her chair laughing and Uraraka is cackling in her seat. Aizawa is sighing again and Iida is standing up, yelling about how Midoriya shouldn’t have done that.
Izuku immediately drops into a bow but Todoroki immediately smiles. The class falls quiet when they see their usually stoic member smiling. “Thanks for that. I’ve been really waiting for this day to come.” The class yells in shock and AIzawa leans forward in his chair a bit. “What do you mean by that Todoroki?”
Todoroki and Izuku make eye contact and Izuku nods. Todoroki stands up and goes to the front of the class. Everyone sits down. “Have you ever heard of quirk marriages?”
Needless to say, Izuku found that a few more donations were made just a few seconds away from each other.
From there, the class worked together to gather even more information. They would hang out on the weekends, just following Endeavor's patrolling hours and gathering information from others just around. Izuku, who had finally told Nedzu about his hacking, gained the help from Nedzu and multiple trusted police. Todoroki had planted several cameras around his house with the help of Hagakure and Shoji. Bakugou was surprisingly willing to help, muttering a short “I knew it.” to Todoroki before walking off to watch Endeavor’s fight.
At the end of the week, they had amassed enough information, even digging through old files filled with Endeavor’s death and capture rates. The night before they were going to officially start the process, a man with scars along his body showed up at Izuku’s door step.
Izuku called over Todoroki to reunite with Touya after the man confessed. There, Izuku had even more evidence and hastily added a few more papers to the huge file of papers.
The next week, the news of the Endeavor petition maker sending in information about Endeavor hit the news and the public went wild. They couldn’t believe that a person was trying to bring down the number 2 hero. Endeavor fans were immediately flaming the petition maker and people against Endeavor immediately started to donate even more, the money increasing dramatically.
It was now the day of the trial and the entirety of Japan were on their seats, waiting for the face of the infamous Endeavor petition creator. Everyone was in the court now except for the petition creator’s side. Endeavor opens his mouth to protest when the doors open. Everyone turns to the doors to see the entirety of Class 1A standing there along with their homeroom teacher, a green haired woman, and a scarred man. Some people gasp when they recognize Touya, but they immediately look away when they are met with the red eyed teacher’s eyes.
The group step forward, almost all except for Izuku and his mom, Todoroki, Touya, and Aizawa stepping into the benches behind the tables. The five move towards the tables and all but Izuku sits. Izuku bows to the Jury before turning to Endeavour. He smiles, his green eyes glinting when they catch the glare of the light above him. Everyone shivers as the woman sitting down turns to face Endeavor as well, her eyes catching the light as well.
“Hello Endeavor. I am Midoriya Izuku or known as the Endeavour petition maker. Shall we get this trial started?”
It turns out, it was much easier than they thought to take down Endeavor. People just didn't have the heart to try in the past. The lawyers he hired were just all talk without showing any proof. All they said were things along the lines of “Endeavor is a very good hero” and “He would never do that because he is a hero”. Inko scoffs in her seat before standing when Endeavor’s lawyer was done.
There she presented her evidence as well as showing it on the projector just to the side of the Jury. She smiles when she sees the pale faced Endeavor and the shocked faces of the crowd. The trial took a week before Endeavor was finally pronounced guilty.
“Endeavor, you are being declared guilty. You are being charged with both child neglect and abuse, illegal quirk marriage, abuse and spousal rape of your significant other, various accounts of murder of citizens and villains alike, police brutality and unbecoming conduct of an officer. This calls for 70 years in prison with the assistance of Pro Hero Rewind who can ensure that Endeavor serves his full sentence as well as other tasks and demands that will be decided by the hero commission, UA, and family which will also be documented to ensure they are recorded. This meeting is adjourned.”
Everyone cheers as Endeavor is dragged away, him struggling against the officers and binds that hold him.
This moment would go up into the history books for many years. This event also catapulted the Class A up the hero ranks right after their graduation. With this, it also led to the reforming of the hero commission as well as the calling for more protective services.
With this new found fame, Izuku also brought up the issues of discrimination agaisnt people with and without quirks. Izuku and his mom would continue to bring up issues, even as Izuku became a hero. Todoroki, now addressed as Shouto, along with other members of his class all had their own protective services and shelters for people being discriminated against and abused.
The world became a better place. Also much less polluted since a certain fire hero was finally off the streets.
(no actually, like he would burn so much down that the smoke worsened the air quality. so there’s that!)
