Caution: Messing With My Brother Will Be Hazardous To Your Life

Summary:

Kim Namjoon’s tiny alpha sister has had enough of alphas treating her brother poorly.

Her brother is the prettiest, softest and kindest omega ever, and she can and will throw down anyone who says otherwise. Pretty-boy alphas thinking they can mess with her treasure of a brother should sleep with one eye open.

(Alt., Alpha Jimin who's extremely protective of her omega brother Namjoon and tries her best to prevent the rest of Bangtan from courting him. Shenanigans ensue.)

Notes:

Hi, first off, a huge thank you to the prompter. I had lots of fun writing cute Namjoon with an overprotective Jimin who tries to mess up the plans of the rest of the boys! I am sorry if this is not what you had in mind when you submitted the prompt, but I hope you'll like it anyways and it'll live up to your expectations!

Secondly, this is just a light read, so I hope it'll bring a smile to your face! Enjoy! <3

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Jimin would kill a man with her bare hands for Namjoon. That doesn't make a psychopath. Or the second coming of Harley Quinn.

"It just means I am protective of him," she tells Taehyung who simply gapes at her unattractively, sauce smeared over his left cheek.

His chopsticks clatter to the table and he continues blinking at her.

"What?"

"Min, uh," He swallows and picks up his chopsticks. "I am not sure if you realise this, but you're probably much more unhinged than Harley considering that she at least she had a fucking excuse for being the way she was."

Jimin raises a perfect eyebrow at her best friend.

Taehyung shakes his head and reaches for the ramen in her bowl with sticky sticky hands and she raps her chopsticks against his knuckles, hard.

"See!" He whines, rubbing his knuckles. "You hurt me and I am your best friend!"

"You're no such thing to me," she sniffs, cradling her bowl closer to her. "And it's not like you haven't gotten smacked by all your hyungdeul for this."

"Except Namjoonie hyung," Taehyung mutters. "He would never stand for such abuse."

"Which is why I have to make sure he's okay because he gives in to every single stray like you! He's too soft hearted for his own good!"

Taehyung glares at her, pointing his chopsticks accusingly. "One, I take offence to being called a stray. And two - " He jabs the chopsticks a little. "You threatened to chop off a guy's balls once because he stared at Namjoonie hyung for too long - "

'"He was ogling!"

" - broke another alpha's nose because he said Joonie hyung had a nice ass - "

"That guy was a fucking pervert!"

" - spilled coffee all over the baby alpha who Namjoonie hyung was teaching because according to you he was sitting too close to be appropriate for a study session - "

"He - he was!" Jimin splutters.

Taehyung levels her with the look. The look specially reserved for whenever she's being a dumbass or atleast, he thinks she's being a dumbass.

"Admit it, Jiminie. You're maybe slightly unhinged when it comes to Joon hyung, but it's okay." He pats her on the hand condescendingly and she sulks at him. "We get it. There's absolutely no way so much rage could be contained in such a tiny body without any form of release and - "

She jabs his side hard with her elbow and he winces.

"See - those violent tendecies I was talking about - "

"I wouldn't have to do it if you didn't call me small - "

"Yeah yeah, otherwise you do it only when Namjoonie hyung's involved, we know - "

"So I don't see why it's a problem to you because you're not interested in him, are you?"

Taehyung smiles at her at that - the fucking fakest smile she's ever seen and she's the master of fake smiles - swallows and says in a pitch higher than his voice normally is, "Of course not. I am only platonically in love with him."

Jimin jabs him again for good measure.

"See that you keep it that way and we won't have issues."

Taehyung gulps.

Jimin smiles.

It's fun terrorising her best friend.

Besides, it's not like she's insane, it's just that - Namjoon's fucking lovable and too many alphas thirst after him and he deserves only the fucking best, not alphas who try to get into his pants by sweet talking him and making him food and well -

She's justified in feeling the way she feels.

That's her lovely omega brother after all.

And she'll do whatever she needs to to make sure his smile never dims.

i.

Zero O' Clock is a weird cafe. The outside looks like a rainbow puked all over it while the inside looks like something straight out of Umbridge's wet dreams.

It's just so - pink.

And it's owner, Kim Seokjin, is to put it lightly, just a few cells away from getting carted away to the asylum and no, she's not pissy because Seokjin's feeding Namjoon pastries with her brother half draped across the alpha's lap as he works. She's completely not biased against Seokjin because of that.

Absolutely not.

The need to deck Seokjin with her stilettos is not what's going on through her head as she makes her way to the table at which they're seated.

"Namjoonie oppa!" She says as soon as she's in front of them and Namjoon looks up from his laptop, glasses a little skewed, a smile already splitting his features.

"Minnie!" He beams at her and gets up from Jin's lap (yes!), pulling Jimin into a hug and Jimin sinks into his hold, face already buried in his neck. Sue her, but he just smells so fucking good. She makes a mental note to check if his pre-heat's near and if so, figure out how to cancel all her classes that week so that she can stick by his side the whole time and ward off alphas like - like the one that's staring at her with a displeased look on his face, pastries still in hand.

"Jimin," Seokjin greets her when Namjoon finally lets go of her only to tug her into the chair opposite Seokjin and sits down next to her.

"Seokjin oppa." She nods her head sweetly, smoothening her skirt.

"Why are you here? Don't you have classes now?" He asks, reaching for yet another pastry and feeding Namjoon in front of her! How dare he! And that too in a not so innocent way because he just fucking deliberately touched her brother's plump lips when he placed the pastry in his mouth, the fucking nerve.

Her eyebrow twitches.

"They got cancelled," she supplies, gritting her teeth.

Namjoon, the lovely soul, continues working on his thesis, completely unaware of the posturing that's happening above his head.

God, this is why she needs to protect him.

He's just so lovely and sweet and naive.

He probably doesn't even realise that Seokjin's got an ulterior motive in feeding in him - that it's not in a friendly way.

"I see," Seokjin says in a way that seems to say that he doesn't see.

Jimin smiles at him.

He smiles back.

It's so fucking fake and she loves it.

He reaches for another pastry and Jimin notices for the first time that they're shaped like little koalas - Namjoon's favourite animal - and she almost coos at how cute they are before catching herself. This is public enemy #2 after all.

And - she's got good reasons for it.

The reason being the bite mark on Seokjin's neck. A mark that shows that he's mated. To another person. And yet he has the guts to flirt with Namjoon!

She's not going to let her brother be added to an alpha's harem, never mind that the person Seokjin is mated to is none other than her own sunshine dance captain, Jung Hoseok, who's also an alpha and that he's equally interested in Namjoon.

None of that matters.

"Don't you have a shop to run?" Jimin asks him when Seokjin swipes a blob of cream off Namjoon's lips and her older brother blushes a faint pink, scent turning a little sweeter, before licking the cream off his fingers.

Seokjin licks it off his own fingers, for all those dirty minded people who need clarification.

It's like she doesn't even exist right then, with the way Seokjin's shamelessly acting around Namjoon. And she can't even begin to imagine how forward he would be if Jimin isn't there.

She shudders.

"I have got capable employees running the shop." Seokjin winks at her and throws finger guns in the direction of the counter where a flustered Beomgyu's dealing with customers, with Soobin assisting him. They're a mess but they do have all the girls and guys alike cooing over them even if they fuck up, so yes, business is going well for Seokjin.

Jimin has no idea how he manages that.

Shaking her head, she forcefully grabs the last pastry before Seokjin can take it and feeds her brother herself.

Namjoon turns his head to offer her a dimpled smile that makes her feel so so warm and gooey inside.

"Thanks Minnie."

"Anytime oppa."

"Hey, I made the pastries myself, where's my thank you?" Seokjin pipes up, pouting and Jimin rolls her eyes.

"Thank you hyungie," Namjoon tells him, dimples peeking out, making a heart with his fingers and okay fuck that's so cute. Evidently Seokjin thinks so too because he basically squeals as he grabs his phone and snaps a picture of the scene.

"You're too cute, baby - "

Baby?

" - it should be illegal to be so cute. You're going to kill me one day with your cuteness!"

"You won't have to worry about that because I am going to kill you right now if you call my brother baby one more time," Jimin hisses.

Seokjin coos at her.

"So cute," he says, ruffling her hair even as Namjoon gently nudges her side, lips pulling into a pout.

"Jiminie, don't be mean to hyung. It's not okay."

"Exactly! It's not - "

"It's okay, Joon-ah," Seokjin casually cuts in, squashing Jimin's face with his hands. "She's practically like my younger sister too."

"Hyung, you're too nice." Namjoon murmurs, blushing again and Jimin tries squawking out a no, I am not like his younger sister, but her lips are still smushed so it just comes out weird.

Seokjin winks at her, before releasing her and looks at his phone.

"Hey, Min, I think they rescheduled your classes? Tae sent me a message asking where you are."

Jimin glowers at him and reaches for her own phone. Sure enough there's fifteen missed calls from her best friend and three very strongly worded messages.

Fuck.

Seokjin smirks.

Namjoon looks at her worried.

"You won't be late, right?"

"Naah," Jimin says, grabbing her bag and getting up. "Don't worry, oppa."

She flashes him her most reassuring smile.

"I'll be there on time."

"She will," Seokjin adds, cheshire grin on his face "As long as she leaves immediately.

Jimin glares at him and bends to place a kiss on Namjoon's forehead.

"I am leaving now," Jimin says as she walks out, but not before leaning down and whispering in Seokjin's ear - "I have got my eyes on you, remember."

Seokjin blows her a kiss.

Jimin mimes dumping it in the trash can by the corner and walks out.

Once she's sure she's well away from the vicinity of the shop, she gives up her dignifed strut to sprint towards her class - holy fuck, she's going to be late.

She barely gets into class before Professor Song walks in and slides into her seat, knowing she looks like a fucking mess.

Taehyung looks at her with dead eyes and shakes his head.

"You should stop stalking the people courting your brother or you're going to end up missing classes and I am not going to help you."

"Not the C word," she hisses, rummaging into her bag for her books.

Taehyung levels her with the look.

Her phone pings and she takes it out. There's a message from Namjoon asking if she got there on time and then another from -

Coffeeshop asshole

I left a box of Japchae in your bag and pastries because Tae said your class would end late and that you didn't have any lunch

Eat well brat and share the pastries with Tae

And don't worry about your brother

He's in good hands

;)

She huffs and sticks her head into her bag. Sure enough there's a fucking pink lunchbox in there and the worst thing is - she's already drooling thinking about his Japchae because it's to kill.

Short Minion

Fuck you

If your pinky so much as touches my brother I am gonna chop it off

You can't bribe me with food

Coffeeshop asshole

;)

The first picture's Namjoon making a heart at Seokjin and the second - it's a selfie of him curled into Seokjin's side, an embarassed but pleased smile on his face even as Seokjin plants a kiss on his hair and -

"Stop glaring at your phone, Professor Song's coming our way," Taehyung hisses at her and she grits her teeth.

Fucking prick.

Short Minion

will

end

you

after

class

:)

...

also thanks for the food

and make sure my brother gets home safe if he stays late in the cafe

Coffeeshop asshole

you're welcome ;)

and will do

duh

So maybe Seokjin's an asshole but he's not bad as half the brutes out there, so maybe she can give him some leeway.

It's absolutely not because of the Japchae.

ii.

Jimin likes to think she's a very nice alpha older sibling figure. She's generally a very sweet person after all, and she adores pups almost as much as they adore her (which kinda makes sense cause she's very lovable, please, psychopathics tendencies aside) which is why Jeon Jeongguk is a hard pill to swallow.

She liked him initially. The first time she set eyes on this baby alpha looking more like a bunny than anything else with bambi doe eyes, lost in the bustling city that's their Uni, she feels this strong maternal urge to pull him to her chest and hug him tight, never mind that he's fucking taller than her.

And that's what she does - takes him under her wing - talks to him, takes him to all his classes. It's a nice half day. Especially considering that he trails after her like some kind of lost puppy, stars in his eyes, voice so so sweet and shy as he calls out Noona at every turn.

And then - she makes the biggest mistake of her life. She takes him to lunch with her.

Lunch where she sits with her best friend and her brother and the messes that are his best friends and - the baby alpha she's decided she wants to keep forever takes one look at her brother, drops all his books onto her foot and whimpers, "Holy shit, honey thighs."

That's the moment she decides he's dead to her, as she hops from one foot to another, wondering if something is broken inside.

Well, nothing could be as painful as the shattered trust right then.

Especially as all the others coo at him and Namjoon pulls him into a hug - a fucking hug! And the pup shamelessly sticks his nose into the crook of Namjoon's neck even though it's fucking taboo to do it to someone who's not family! And just says sheepishly as an explanation that Namjoon smells like home.

Fast forward to the present and she sees the pup make his way over to her, a couple of charts in his hand, bag slung over his shoulder.

He's grown a lot from the smol lost kid he was on the first day - and while it makes her feel a little nostalgic, maybe proud and wistful, she reminds herself that no - this is the enemy. One of the alphas who's shamelessly been courting her Namjoonie oppa, even if he's never mentioned it explicitly. An alpha meathead who thinks he's good enough for her brother.

And she doesn't feel nostalgic seeing idiots like them.

Even if she tolerates him on a daily basis because her brother fucking adores him for some weird reason.

"Noona!" He calls out, excited, the moment he spots her, weaving through the tables to get to her. A couple of heads turn as he walks past them, black shirt clinging to his sweaty form, and she rolls her eyes. Right, she had forgotten about the little fanbase he had recently gathered after someone had posted a video of him working out at the gym.

Jesus fucking christ, people could be shameless sometimes. He was still a pup and they looked at him like a piece of meat.

She hated him, of course, but still.

"Noona!" Jeongguk exclaims happily as he sets down his stuff at her table and plops down into the chair across her without even asking. She scoffs.

"Yes?"

"Noona, it feels like it's been ages since I last saw you!" He says, reaching across to manhandle her into a hug and she splutters.

"You were over at our apartment just yesterday night, what the fuck?"

Jeongguk pouts at her.

"Am I not allowed to miss my favourite noona?"

"Both you and I know that's Yoonji, so please tell me why the fuck you're buttering me up right now."

Jeongguk looks at her contemplatively for a second, pulling away from where he was aggressively scenting her (see, just a pup!) and nods.

"Fair enough. You're second favourite then."

"You have only two noonas that you can talk to without melting into a puddle of goo." She glares at him and he sticks his tongue out at her playfully. "So why are you here again? Other than to disturb me, of course."

"Now don't be like that, noona," he chides, punching her in the arm in what he probably thinks is a gentle manner but the thing is, he might be a pup but he's mostly muscle and she's pretty sure that she's going to bruise later because he never fucking realises his own strength, god. "I actually have something to ask you."

She hums noncomittally, taking a sip of her latte as he rolls out the chart in his hand.

Its' a blueprint of a house.

She raises an eyebrow at it.

"You switched majors or something?"

Jeongguk laughs, bunny teeth out and no, he does not look endearing Kim Jimin, pull yourself together.

"Naah. Still sticking to photography and the arts but - this is gonna be our future house!"

"Our?"

"Yeah, you know, with Namjoonie hyung, in the country side and five cows, two horses, ten chickens, a dog, two cats, thirteen bonsai and of course a lot of flowers for the prettiest flower of them all!" He sighs wistfully, eyes shining.

Jimin chokes on her latte.

"What?"

"What?" Jungkook asks.

"Why cows?" She splutters, because there's too much in that statement to unpack and the cows are the easiest thing to deal with.

"Why not cows?" He challenges back, stealing her latte and shamelessly slurping from it. "They're nice and Namjoonie hyung likes them and they give us milk which is how I get banana milk!" He makes a face and pushes the latte back to her. "Noona, it's so fucking bitter, how do you even drink that shit!"

Jimin glares at him and takes a sip from it.

"Shut it. Not everyone is a baby like you and - " She shakes her head. "I am not even going to ask you to elaborate on the house thing because I don't want to crush your hopes or anything, but why did you even bring it to me? For approval?"

Jeongguk's eyes light up.

"Oh yeah. I brought it because Yoonji noona and I weren't sure if you would want a room on the first floor overlooking the vegetable patch or the one in the basement, so I came to ask you!"

"What?"

He shrugs nonchalantly.

"You'll be living with us, right? Duh. That's why. We'll just make the other a studio for the rap trio."

Jimin stares at him.

And then stares some more.

"What the fuck?"

Jeongguk beams at her.

"Nice, right?"

She looks at the blueprint, dazed and sees labels like game room, nest, kitchen, pack den in Yoonji's handwriting and she shakes her head.

"Why am I living with you guys again, not like I think this is gonna happen but still?"

Jeongguk looks at her like she's sprouted two heads.

"Why wouldn't you? You're pack, aren't you? Are you telling me you won't live with us with your future mate?" His lower lip wobbles.

Oh no.

Not the tears.

Goddamnit.

"I will!" She practically shouts. A few heads turn in the cafe and she ignores them all. They should have gotten used to it by now.

His face smoothens again and he beams.

"I absolutely don't trust any of you around, oppa, so of course I'll be living with you guys." She reaches for the blueprint with a sniff.

"Yaay!" He pumps his fist in the air, pumping out happy pheromones accidentally, the smell of mint clogging up her nose.

"And I'll take the basement."

"Knew you would pick that! I told noona you would pick the cave!" He says with a smile and ducks out of the way before she can smack him.

Her heart absolutely does not melt at the cheeky wave he gives her and leaves. She's not moving in with them because she'll miss them otherwise.

She's doing it only to keep Namjoon safe.

That's it.

Because her oppa is a soft, sweet, moonchild and she's making sure that no alpha takes advantage of him.

(She doesn't think about how she's already envisioning herself dancing in the dance studio along with Hoseok and Jungkook, with Namjoon cheering them on, or how lovely Namjoon would look among the flowers.)

iii.

Hoseok's probably the most decent of the lot, never mind that he's also mated.

Or so she thought until she walked into them cuddling on the sofa of her shared apartment with her brother.

She drops her bag onto the floor with a thud, jaw dropping because what?

"What are you doing here?"

"I like how you ask him that even though you were the one who gave him your spare keys and told him to get Namjoonie hyung home safe because he's in pre-heat," Taehyung comments from beside her, pulling the door shut and hauling her bag up his shoulder.

Jimin turns to glare at him.

"No one asked the peanut gallery for their opinion."

Taehyung pauses where he's removing his shoes and looks around before pointing towards himself. "Moi?" He asks faux innocently and she grits her teeth. "There's only one of me. You can't call me the peanut gallery Jimin, it's just incorrect - "

"Shove it."

She whirls around back onto Hoseok who's watching the whole scene, completely unfazed while Namjoon's got his face buried in his hands

"So?" She asks, hands on her hips. Hoseok smiles wolfishly at her, tucking Namjoon closer into his side.

"I am here because you told me to be here."

"I just told you to drop him off home - not snuggle with him under a blanket on our couch!"

"Jiminie," Namjoon whines, trying to unentangle himself from the blanket burrito Hoseok's managed to get him into but failing. "It's okay. I was the one who asked him to stay because the house was too empty and I didn't want to be alone."

His eyes are a little glassy by the end of the statement like he's going to start crying, body hunched into himself and -

"Might want to tone down the alpha aggressiveness," Hoseok mutters, pressing a kiss to Namjoon's hair and Jimin immediately feels guilty.

Slipping her own shoes off, she crosses the hallway in two strides and crouches down in front of her brother.

"I am sorry for being mean, Joonie oppa I was just worried."

"It's okay, Minnie," he says, smiling a bit, and making grabby hands towards her.

She obliges with a laugh, letting him scent her thoroughly - the way he does only when he's in pre-heat or heat and extremely clingy and affectionate. Not to say that he isn't otherwise, but Namjoon around his heat is the cutest fucking thing ever and she lives for it.

Because contrary to common misconception, heats don't make omegas horny, just a little more clingy than usual, a little more sensitive, and Namjoon's just adorable because he doesn't actively try to look tough as opposed to ordinary days, making it easier for her to spoil him with hugs and cuddle the fuck out of him.

"Go change and come, we can watch a movie together?" He asks, once he's satisfied with how she smells like him, turning pleading eyes towards her and - who is she to say no to that. Not to that face. "You too Taehyungie?" He calls out, in the direction of the kitchen from where Jimin can hear pots and pans clanging and suddenly she's a little worried about what the fuck her best friend is doing in there.

"Already on it, hyung," Taehyung says, and she gets her answer when she spots two bowls of popcorn in his hand.

He takes Jimin's place and she slips away to change into comfier clothes, a smile on her face. She fucking loves days like this.

Half an hour later and they're all seated in front of the television, Jungkook included - which, again, Jimin has no idea how the fuck he got in - okay no, she knows, he scaled the building to get in because he likes to think he's spider man and -

"Min, you guys live in the first floor and the most that Jungkook would have broken if he had fallen are the flower pots down there, dude's built like a truck and you know that," Taehyung interrupts her, because of course he does, and she pokes his side with her toe.

He winces and moves away from her to deliberately settle at Namjoon's feet, head in her brother's lap and she growls.

The fucker.

"Your sister's being mean to me, hyungie," he whines with wide wide eyes that he knows are Namjoon's weakness.

Her brother moves away from Hoseok to place a fond fond kiss on Taehyung's forehead, a smile on his lips, like he knows they're both being brats and fighting for his attention and like he can't help but be endeared by it.

"I am not being mean to him," Jimin sulks, crossing her arms over her chest. "He started it."

"No, I didn't - "

"Pups. Really?" Hoseok cuts in, pausing the movie and looking at the two of them.

"Hoseokie oppa!"

"Hoseokie hyung!"

"Five minutes in the kitchen. Hold hands. Don't come out if you haven't solved your issues. I am not going to have you stressing out my mate when he's this sensitive."

"What?"

What?

"Wait wait, your what - who's your mate - Seokjin isn't here - Taehyung stop dragging me towards the kitchen!"

"He's just joking, right?" She asks Taehyung, seated on the counter and swinging her legs. "They aren't really mated, right?"

Taehyung fixes her with the look.

"Min, sometimes you're just so dumb."

"Yah!"

"You can't hit me!" Taehyung ducks, still holding onto her hand and thereby accidentally pulling her off the counter. Both of them land in a heap on the kitchen floor. Taehyung sighs.

A pair of feet enter her vision. Iron man socks clad feet. She drops her face into Taehyung's chest.

"Yes, Jungkook?"

"I came to tell you guys that your five minutes are up and that Namjoonie hyung's asking for you but it's okay if you guys want to be alone I'll tell them - "

"What?"

Jimin stares at Jungkook and then Taehyung in horror.

"What the fuck, no - Taehyung you didn't have to push me off that quick, am I that repulsive to you - yah, help me up and go!"

Rubbing her elbow, she forces herself up onto her feet, flipping the finger at Taehyung's retreating back.

She can't believe that's her platonic soulmate.

Jungkook's nervously hopping from one foot to another.

"Uh, you sure nothing's going on between the two of you - "

Jimin slams a palm over his mouth.

"Nothing. Jesus fucking christ. Let's just go watch that damn movie."

Jungkook shrugs.

Jimin has no idea when the movie gets over. All she knows is that when she opens her eyes, it's because she can no longer smell Namjoon and that his comforting presence isn't beside her. Blearily, she rubs at her eyes and gets up, noticing that Hoseok's also missing, with Taehyung and Jungkook fast asleep beside her, a blanket tucked around all three of them.

She can imagine her brother tucking them in and it brings a smile to her face.

But first things first - where's her brother?

Getting up, and whispering an apology to Jungkook as she steps on his hand, she makes her way towards Namjoon's room. Towards his closed bedroom door. Towards where his scent seems stronger, suddenly much more alert because the room's closed. Because she can hear voices from in there and - the room is closed. It's half past two in the night and Namjoon's in his room with another alpha - a mated one - in his pre-heat.

She tiptoes towards the room. Presses her ear to the door. She can faintly make out music.

What?

She swears that if Hoseok so much as has his hands on her brother she's going to kick him out, friend or not.

Slowly, slowly, she turns the handle of the door, and opens it the slightest. A crack. Just enough to see -

Namjoon and Hoseok slow dancing in the middle of the room, smiles on their faces.

Just enough to hear the slow soft music - to hear Namjoon's lovely laugh as Hoseok spins him and catches him to his chest.

And as she keeps watching entranced because it's hard to look away when her brother looks so lovely and alive, she catches sight of the utter devotion on Hoseok's face - sees the face of a man who's hopelessly in love - sees him look at Namjoon the way he looks at Seokjin - like a fucking sap and she -

She can't find it in herself to barge in and ruin the moment so she gently closes the door.

Because after all, they're only dancing. Innocently. It's not like he's grinding against Namjoon to a sex playlist. This - this is okay. She'll just have words with him in the morning. For now, she'll let them be in their own bubble.

iv.

Yoonji's probably the most obvious out of the lot of them with her courting. Worse than Jungkook to be honest. Because if she's not writing Namjoon love songs and serenading him in the hallways, she's waxing poetic about him during her slot in their Uni's Cool FM and Jimin knows that most of the Uni tunes in simply to hear that.

And the worst thing is - Jimin can't do a single fucking thing about it.

She can't be rude to her the way she is with Seokjin or interrupt them like she does with Hoseok or drag her brother away bodily the way she does when Jungkook is around. Or insert herself into the non-existent space between them.

There are two reasons for this, 1) It's Min Yoonji 2) IT'S MIN YOONJI. And you don't say no to Min Yoonji. You don't deny Min Yoonji what she wants and walk out unscathed.

And yet - Jimin tries.

Her hardest.

Cue the present with Namjoon getting ready for his usual not-date with Yoonji and fretting over whether he looks good.

"Does the grey make me look bad?" Namjoon asks her from in front of the full length mirror in his room and Jimin swallows. She doesn't know how to tell Namjoon that he looks abso-fucking-lutely adorable in the grey hoodie that's two sizes bigger than him; that pairing it with his ripped jeans and messy hair makes him look fucking lethal - so delectable that Jimin's scared to let him out of her sight because he's going to have every fucking alpha in the vicinity drooling over him and -

Jimin wants to cry.

She can't believe he doesn't know how precious he looks and how so many people want him.

"You look absolutely wonderful, oppa," she settles for saying in the end, because she's got too many feelings™ and if she starts speaking she'll end up spilling all of them and sobbing all over him and she can't do that to him when he's so excited to meet Yoonji.

"But Noona said she's taking me with her to one of her underground rap scenes and I don't want to embarass her and - "

"Oppa - with all due respect, you could wear your fucking Koala onesie and Yoonji unnie would be proud of you. So please, for god's sake, stop doubting yourself and come here so that I can do your makeup and make you look even more prettier."

(Because as much as she doesn't trust Min Yoonji to keep her hands off Namjoon, she trusts her enough to keep every other dickbag's sleazy paws off her lovely brother and that's more than enough for now.)

Yoonji shows up at eight dot, in her all black ensemble with an added leather jacket, on her bike and Jimin's eyes bulge out.

"I thought you were going to pick him up in your car?" She asks.

Yoonji simply smirks at her.

"I just said I would drive him there, kiddo, I never specified how."

"I am not a kid and - and - you can't -" She crosses her arms in front of her. "I am not going to let Namjoonie oppa come with you on that death trap."

"Even if I tell you that he was the one who told me very very wistfully that he's never gotten onto a bike and that seeing this would make him so very happy?" Yoonji cocks her head at her.

Jimin closes her eyes.

Patience.

You can't deck her across the face Jimin, because she'll hit back harder and we don't want a repeat of the coffee incident of 2019 because that'll make oppa sad.

"Okay. Okay." Jimin steps back. "But you're bringing him back home before midnight."

"You realise he's older than you right, pup?" Yoonji asks her, still smiling that cat-like smile of hers.

Jimin bristles. "That doesn't mean I am incapable of protecting him - "

"I am just pointing out that maybe he doesn't need to be protected."

"Of course he does!" Jimin says. "There are too many of you out there eying him like a piece of meat and you'll get to him over my dead body."

Yoonji lets loose a bark of laughter, one that shows off her gummy smile, eyes sparkling with mirth and - Jimin's reminded of why she warmed up to the older in the first place - it had been her easy smiles and blunt way with words.

She was someone Jimin had wanted to be - the kind of alpha unbothered by her height or wispy structure; who inspired the kind of fear that not even bulked up male alphas could, among their peers. The one with whom she had had multiple late night talks about how she didn't feel comfortable about her status and -

She just wishes Yoonji wasn't pursuing Namjoon. It would have made things much easier.

"Kiddo, we both know you're just being a tsundere," Yoonji says, a few minutes later, as they wait for Namjoon to come down from wherever he's disappeared to. "I know you and I know you're just scared for him but sooner or later, he's going to get an alpha. He's going to get mated. You'll have to let him go."

Her eyes are gentle, as is her voice as she leans forward to tug Jimin's ponytail slightly.

Jimin feels tears prick her eyelids.

"I am scared they won't treat him right."

Yoonji pulls her into a hug.

"You're allowed to be scared, Namjoonie's precious, after all. But you need to learn to give people a chance. Not everyone's a dick."

"I know," Jimin sniffs, angrily rubbing at her cheeks. "But no one's worthy of him."

"No one's worthy of whom?" Namjoon asks, almost like he's been summoned, looking adorably confused and just adorable as he steps out into the cold, a shy smile on his face.

"No one," Jimin says loudly, stepping away from Yoonji. "Absolutely no one. Anyways, I hope you have a good time Namjoonie oppa, and Yoonji unnie, you better keep my brother safe."

Yoonji salutes and helps Namjoon onto the bike behind her. Jimin swears her soul ascends when Yoonji tells Namjoon to hold on tight to her, absolutely no space between their bodies. And yet - all she can do is force it all down and smile because it's okay, it's just Yoonji. Besides, they're not going on a date.

And then they're off into the night, and Jimin's left staring behind.

Not for too long, of course.

Aye aye cap'n

She might like Yoonji and trust her, but - it's an underground rap scene and there'll be alcohol and Jimin's going to make sure her brother is okay, even if she has a gut feeling that she's going to regret it by the end of the night.

It's okay. Anything for her brother.

She does regret it - a lot. Especially when she sees Yoonji pull Namjoon up onto the stage and thrust the mike in his direction. She regrets it not because he's on stage, because he shines up there - like he was meant to be. Like the stage is his true calling and the crowd that initially boos at him for being an omega quietens down the minute he starts spitting bars.

No, she regrets it because then she's forced to see sweaty drunk alphas hit on her brother and cop a feel when Yoonji's not looking and by the time the two do finally leave, she's accidentally punched too many people to count and spilled drinks all over the others and she's tired, jesus fucking christ.

"God, that was an experience," she says, wiping sweat off her brow as she leans against Taehyung's beat up car.

Her best friend sighs dreamily.

"Yeah, your brother was so hot up there. I am so glad you dragged me along with you"

Jimin jabs him in the stomach.

"Stop thirsting after my brother and I wasn't talking about that."

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah. But I would do it all over again as long as it means oppa is safe so."

...

...

"You're a fucking sap, Min."

"Fuck you."

"Hey Min. What do you think will happen when Yoonji noona drops Namjoon hyung home and they figure out you're not there?"

"Holy fuck, how fast can you drive?'

(Not all that fast, is what Jimin figures out, even as he steps on the pedal and she shows up at their house almost an hour later, to Yoonji and Namjoon cuddling in the living room. At least it's long enough for her to come up with an excuse and say that she had been studying with Taehyung.

Never mind that they're both in clubbing clothes.)

v.

Taehyung comes as a surprise.

(No, he doesn't, but she's been living in denial for too long to say now that she saw it from the start.)

It goes something like this -

"Hey, Min, you wanna go to this art museum with me this weekend? I have got tickets."

"Huh?" Jimin looks up from her assignment.

"Museum, you - me, this weekend?"

"You asking me out on a date?"

"Ew." Taehyung mimes gagging into his drink and Jimin steps on his foot underneath the table.

Her best friend makes a wounded noise.

"You know I don't do museums," she says, turning her attention back to the numbers in front of her because that's the truth, she'll just spend the whole time trailing after him wondering why people pay in order to see a fucking blob of paint in the middle of a white canvas. Even she can do that. And then they'll have a major argument about it.

"Oh." Taehyung pouts, face falling and it makes Jimin feel bad immediately. She's not an asshole, after all, and she does genuinely enjoy spending time with Taehyung.

"Hey, if you have got no one to go with, I'll come with you."

"Ah it's okay." He shakes his head, pocketing the tickets. "I'll just ask Namjoonie hyung. I think he mentioned wanting to go to the museum too."

Jimin freezes.

"Run that by me again?"

"I'll ask Namjoonie hyung to come with me to the museum," he says easily, taking out his phone.

Jimin snatches it from him.

"I'll come with you."

"You don't need to," he says, taking his phone back. "I completely forgot how much you despised things like that."

"I don't! I adore Cipasso!' Jimin shrieks, reaching for his phone again. She ends up knocking down his drink in the process and the glass shatters.

The cafe falls deadly silent.

Five minutes later and they're both out on the pavement of the cafe, a lifetime ban slapped on their backs for the offences of causing ruckus, disturbing the peace of the regulars and breaking a glass.

"I liked that cafe," Taehyung whines.

"They were overpriced." Jimin says, too busy stuffing her things into her bag.

"No they weren't."

"They were - "

"They - "

"Namjoonie oppa!" Jimin waves over her brother, a smile overtaking her features at the mere sight of him. Her brother's truly a sight for sore eyes.

"Hyung!" Taehyung screeches, boxy smile in place again and he waves his hands madly.

Namjoon beams at them as he jogs towards them.

"Hey," he says, pulling them both into a hug and planting kisses on both their heads. "So what's my favourite duo doing outside a cafe?"

Jimin looks away awkwardly.

Taehyung fidgets.

"Uh, we - "

"Got kicked out?" Namjoon asks with a sigh. "How many times are you guys going to do this? Aren't you supposedly soulmates?"

"We are!" Jimin says as does Taehyung and they both fist bump.

Namjoon shakes his head and throws an arm around both of them, steering them in the direction of their apartment.

'"You guys are idiots," he says. sounding so so fond. "Anyways, why were you even fighting?"

"Oh!" Taehyung pipes up, eyes lighting up and Jimin lunges to cover his mouth with her palm because no way is she going to let him ask her brother out.

But of course, being her best friend and thereby immune to her techniques, he simply licks her palm and continues talking.

"I wanted to ask you if you would want to go to the museum with me. I have got tickets for this weekend. The one you spoke about, you know?" He looks at Namjoon with puppy eyes and Namjoon beams, cheeks dimpling.

"I would love to! I have been meaning to go for so long, how did you even get your hands on them?"

"Woah, wait." Jimin steps in between the two of them - palms out. "I said I was going with you. So you're gonna ditch me now?"

"Oh." Namjoon's face falls and Jimin feels terrible. Like she murdered a puppy and burnt it to ashes. God, she hates herself. "I didn't realise. You can go, Jiminie, I don't min -  "

"All three of us can go?" Taehyung speaks up before Jimin can start grovelling and god, she's never been happier to have Taehyung as a best friend before.

"Oh, that's a good idea!" Namjoon says, smiling again, and well, anything to see that smile of his.

Even if it means she'll have to endure being stuck in between two art geeks.

Being stuck between two art geeks is not the issue. The issue is that they make her feel like a third wheel without meaning to. Or maybe Taehyung means to. Maybe that's why he invited her along, so that she could see him completely drape himself all over Namjoon and talk to him so sweetly and look at him like he hung the fucking moon in the skies.

Which, she thinks, as she sips her bitter bitter coffee, feels like seeing a copy of Jeongguk and that's just weird. Not to mention how Taehyung keeps taking photos of Namjoon everywhere and uses sleazy pick up lines on him like In a museum full of art, I only have eyes for you and -

She wants to either strangle her best friend or tear her hair out.

Taking a deep breath, she shoves her coffee into Taehyung's hand and forcibly pushes her way in between them and links her arms with both of them. There. Now there won't be anymore draping of one lanky alpha over her sweet omega brother.

Because Taehyung might be her best friend, but - no one deserves Namjoonie oppa.

"So tell me all about that - " She cocks her head at the picture in front of them. "Tree? Is that even a tree?"

She gets twin sighs from either side before she's dragged away.

"Yah, yah, someone explain to me!"

Two hours later and her feet hurt. She has no idea why she decided that wearing heels to a museum was a good idea. Two hours later and Taehyung and Namjoon still look bright as ever as they discuss yet another painting, wild gestures and sparkling eyes.

Two hours later and Jimin collapses into a seat near the exhibit, watching her brother and best friend interact, with a little fondness, she's not going to deny, because it's been such a long time since she saw Namjoon this alive.

Wait.

No.

That's wrong.

This was the same smile on his face as he spent time with Jungkook as his muse for a portrait. The same happiness when Hoseok brought him home and cuddled him - when they slow dueted in the middle of the living room, much much later that night, with just the moon for company. The same infectious joy when Seokjin had fed him pastries and made sure he wasn't overworked, simply keeping him company. The same glow when he had been up on stage with Yoonji, spitting bars about automatic dick.

It's - and she realises with a jolt, like someone's dumped a bucket of freezing ice on her - the smile she sees on his face whenever he's around her, or the five of them and - It shakes her to the core.

Because she had always wanted the best for him but what if the best she wanted for him wasn't what he wanted? What if what he's always wanted is these five alphas who look at him like he's the centre of their universe - these people who make him come alive like this and look so so beautiful - inside and out.

Because if that isn't the truth. He's practically glowing. In a way he never did when he was with his previous boyfriend. Or the one before that. Or all the casual flings in between.

And as she sees Taehyung carefully place himself between Namjoon and another alpha who's looking a little too interested in him, without even letting her brother know; as she sees him make Namjoon blush a lovely pink with just a few words and a smile - when she sees the way he holds Namjoon's hand in his - she thinks maybe Yoonji was right.

She can't keep holding onto Namjoon forever.

And yeah, maybe these five alphas might not be the best out there - maybe none of them deserve Namjoon - but they're the people who make him happy. Who make him smile and who are there for him even otherwise. They're the people who are willing to co-exist simply because they all love him in a society where two alphas can't even get along normally.

It's almost like an epiphany, one that both shatters her heart and pieces it together in a fuller way and she quietly slips out of the museum and makes her way back home, pulling out her phone as she does.

Smol Soulmate

I am on my way home

Got tired of all the art

Tell my brother not to worry and have fun on your date with him

But know that if you even think of making him cry, I will end you, soulmate or not

And you know how creative I can get

Tol Soulmate

Thank you Min

Love you too you fucking sap

And know that if I ever fuck up, I give you complete permission to carve me up the way you want

<3

Jimin smiles at that. Feels wetness trail down her cheeks. Realises she's crying. In a bus stop. In the middle of the fucking day. And -

"Hey, Chim. Get in."

Hoseok offers her his usual megawatt smile and leans across the passenger seat to open the door for her. She has no idea where he came from, but she's never been gladder to see him.

"Where are you going?" She asks, voice wet and legs a little wobbly as she makes her way over to the car. The fucking bright yellow car she always made fun of but now brings a smile to her face.

"Nowhere in particular. Where do you want to go?"

"I don't know."

Hoseok hums as she puts on the seatbelt.

"Let's just go for a ride."

For a while, it's just them and the music, the buildings giving way to green and fields. It's just them and the breeze and the music and then Hoseok starts singing along in falsetto to some girl group song, with his own sound effects that have her cracking a smile.

And then she starts singing too, crooning along to the voices, deliberately fucking with the rap parts and it's - nice. To take a break from worrying about if her brother is safe and in good hands. To take a break from uni and assignments and deadlines and being perfect.

In that moment, she feels like she can breathe, even if she's out of breath from all the singing and laughing.

So when they're off the roads and on the gravel paths and Hoseok lowers the volume of the music and says, "So tell me what's on your mind," it's not hard to tell him the truth.

"I just figured that I have got to let go of oppa. That the people around him," she hesitates and looks out - at the vast expanse of sky in front of her, at the cars whizzing past - "They're good to him."

Hoseok simply hmms.

"You guys are good to him - good for him." She glances at Hoseok and the older alpha offers her a warm smile. "I have always been scared that oppa will be taken advantage of. That alphas like his exes will sweet talk him and use him and break him and - I have always had a hard time letting people get close to him. But in spite of all of that, you guys got close to him - broke down my defences and - and - "

She swipes at her cheek angrily and sniffs into the kerchief Hoseok offers her.

"Seeing him happy with all of you - especially with Tae today, it made me realise that maybe I don't always need to look out for my brother. That he's strong enough to look out for himself and even otherwise, he's got good people around him. People who genuinely love him for who he is and not his subgender or his scent and - "

"It got overwhelming?" Hoseok asks her gently. Faintly, she realises that the reason she feels a little calmer is because of the soothing pheromones Hoseok's been pumping out - of vanilla and flowers and something that smells faintly of the meadow. And yet she can't find herself to be mad.

"Yeah. It was a little overwhelming. To know that it's okay, that he's happy and in good hands and that I don't need to - "

" - Be on constant alert all the time. I get that. I have an older omega sister too."

"Oh, right."

'"Yeah." Hoseok smiles at her. "It's a little hard to let go of that overprotectiveness but to be honest, they're actually smarter than us and much much more capable of taking care of themselves than us."

"Yeah, kinda just figured that out." She blows into the kerchief. Dabs at her eyes. "It's just a little hard to take in. To think that he won't need me anymore, not that he needed me in the first place but." She laughs, maybe a little hysterically but.

"That's not true. I think they'll always need us the way we'll always need them, you know. You're siblings. There are always going to be things for which he'll turn to you first - for which you'll got to him first even if you have gotten a mate. Things that only siblings can understand. He's not cutting you out of his life, Chim."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah," Hoseok promises, linking their pinkies. "This is Namjoon we're talking about, come on." And Jimin finds herself believing it. Believing for the first time in a long time that things will work out the way they're meant to. And that they'll work out well. "Now let's get back home, I am starving and Jinnie promised to make us both Jajangmyeon for dinner if we showed up on time."

+1

Jimin's long past the days when she would actively think about burying bodies for Namjoon. Not that she wouldn't now, because she still will, mind you. But it's a thing that's not actively in her thoughts, mainly because he's got five partners now - four boyfriends and a girlfriend to be specific, and half of them are much more psychotic than her so she can lay her worries to rest a bit.

Also, it's hard for people to mess with Namjoon when at least one of them is always hovering over him.

But then there are days like this - when she finds him walking to class alone because 2/5 of them are in Daegu and another 2/5 are at a dance meet at Busan and the last of them all is stuck in his shop because business is booming and Beomgyu can no longer handle omegas flirting with him.

There are days like this when Namjoon will end up alone at the library and she'll get this feeling in her gut like something's wrong because Namjoon's her fucking brother and she'll always know if he's in trouble so she'll make her way to the library only to find two dick alphas harassing him - calling him easy and a slut for hanging out with five alphas and - and she'll see red because they don't get to speak to him that way.

Don't get to speak to her sweet, lovely, gentle brother that way - especially when he does nothing to defend himself because he hates confrontations.

She sees red and she'll pummel them the way she used to - before - break their noses and send them running, promising murder if they ever disturb her brother again and then she'll pull him home with her, plastered by his side the whole time because she knows words like that hurt him even if he'll never show them.

She'll listen to him tell her to stop picking fights for him like she always has, and squeeze him in a tight hug before he can say thank you and remind him that's what sisters are for. That's what she's there for. To make sure he's always smiling and happy and that his scent never sours the way it did when those guys were around.

She'll cook for him and they'll play music in the kitchen and dance around and by the time he falls asleep in bed, his scent would have returned back to it's normal sweetness - to that scent that screams home the moment she breathes it in.

And then she gets to work.

Seokjin

Google is murder a crime

There once used to be a time when Jimin went overprotective mode on her brother all by herself. Sometimes with Taehyung. But these days she's got five other people who'll do it even before her. Who'll have their weapons ready before even the first tear rolls down his cheek.

And no one in the world deserves her brother, but these guys come pretty damn close.

(Guys and girl, sorry Yoonji unnie.)

Mochi

I was thinking something along the lines of embarassing the fuck out of them on radio and then maybe making sure they never get laid for another five hundred years?

Hobi

Completely in

Don't worry I'll get working on that with Yoonji noona

Yoonji

Are you sure I can't just stick a knife in between their ribs

It's much more nicer and personal

V

Yoonji noona, no.

Yeah, Jimin's pretty much happy now. Because now, if she needs to bury a body for Namjoon, she'll have five people right by her side, no judgement involved.

("You're still the second coming of Harley Quinn, trust me, the only person who looks even more maniacal than you when we talk about revenge is Yoonji noona."

"Oh, shut it Tae. Let's not pretend like we didn't catch you polishing Yoonji unnie's knives the other day, while humming Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. '

"I didn't - you - fuck.")

++1

It's only when she's getting ready to go on her date with Taemin does she understand, at least vaguely, how her brother must have felt all these years.

It's embarassing - as fuck.

"Oppa, I'll be okay. It's just Taemin - "

"- Yoonji noona don't you think that top is a little too sheer?"

"- you know Taemin - he's nice - "

"Wait why don't you guys go to Zero O' Clock, that way Seokjinnie hyung can keep an eye on you."

"Oppa - I am not going to let your boyfriend watch over me during my date!"

She huffs and crosses her arms.

Taehyung jabs her in the ribs.

"You want me to make you look like a five course meal, you have gotta stay still."

"Tae, is that necessary?" Namjoon whines, "She looks too pretty. There'll be all kinds of weirdos hitting her at that place and the reviews for the restaurant aren't great."

"Looks like quite a shady place, yeah?" Seokjin pipes up from where he's scrolling through his phone on Jimin's bed, a smirk on his face and Jimin has a feeling this is payback for all the times she's gotten in between them.

She grits her teeth.

"It's not a shady place, Seokjin oppa - "

"Stay still Min!"

"And Namjoonie oppa," she takes a step forward, completely disregarding Taehyung to cup her brother's face in her palms. "I'll be fine. It's just a lunch date. In a crowded restaurant. And I am an alpha - "

"He's an alpha too and he towers over you - "

"Yoonji unnie can take down Seokjin oppa any day so what's your point?"

"Yah!"

She pulls Namjoon into a loose hug, resting her forehead against his shoulder, his arms around her waist. "I'll be okay and I promise that if I feel even the tiniest bit uncomfortable, I will call one of you."

"Yeah?" Namjoon asks her, worrying his bottom lip.

"Yeah." She links their pinkies. "Promise."

The thing is, like the fool she is, she thinks that's it. It's over and that her date will go without a hitch, completely forgetting all the shit she's pulled before. So when she sees Taemin walk into the house with Hoseok to pick her up, looking a little uncomfortable around the collar, she thinks nothing of it.

Until they're halfway to the restaurant, Jimin having borrowed Seokjin's car and he says with a nervous laugh.

"They sure are damn protective of you, huh?"

Jimin turns to look at him, hands on the steering wheel.

"What?"

"Hoseok promised that no one would be able to find my body if I broke your heart so." He smiles. Nervously.

Jimin lets her head drop onto the wheel with a thud.

What the fuck.

It's a nice restaurant. The ambience is nice, the food's nicer and the company is quite pleasant. Even if she's not so sure Taemin's the one, she thinks that he'll at least be a good friend. And well, she's got time, she's still young. Never mind that her brother's got five almost-mates already.

Thing is, it sounds like the perfect recipe for a good date, right?

Now add in two shady looking guys sitting at the table behind yours, wearing shades, one dressed in all black, the other in pink and completely sticking out like fucking sore thumbs. Yeah, still a good date? Thought so.

She can't help but admire how they don't give a fuck about blending in even if she wants to smack them both.

So when Taemin gets up to search for the washroom, she makes her way to their table and slams her palms in front of them.

"Why are you here?"

Seokjin lowers his shades coolly, still sipping on his water like it's martini or something, and says, "Your brother was worried."

Jungkook shrugs, sipping on his banana milk (and where the fuck did he even get that from what the fuck?)

"Okay, no, you guys are making this awkward - "

"He's still not noticed us, right?" Jungkook asks, the smug baby alpha, toying with the menu and Jimin pinches the bridge of her nose.

"That doesn't mean you guys get to stay! I am on a date, I don't need you spying on me!"

"I distinctly remember fifteen separate instances in which you did the same with Tae and if you want even more, I can call up Yoonji because she's got a written record of all of them somewhere in her studio so - "

Jimin wants to melt into the floor.

"Fine. Oh my god. Fucking fine. But will you leave after some time? Please?"

Seokjin's eyes soften.

"Of course, pup. We really just wanted to make sure you were okay - "

"Annoying you is a plus, of course," Jungkook pipes up and she flicks him slightly.

" - we know it's not your first date but Hoseok's heard a few unsavoury things about Taemin and we didn't want you to get caught up in anything. That's it." He grabs her hand, squeezing it slightly and Jimin melts.

"Okay. Thanks. I am sorry, I was just mad and - "

"It's okay. We know. Now go, he's making his way back."

And if Jimin gives them both a quick hug before she goes back to her table, no one needs to know.

True to their word, when she looks back fifteen minutes later, the table's empty. It brings a smile to her face.

Even if she spots Namjoon and Taehyung at the park afterwards; even if Yoonji and Hoseok accidentally bump into them at the arcade.

It's just because they care. Namjoon cares. Like she did. Like she does.

And maybe Taemin's the one; maybe he's not. But she knows that whoever she ends up with will make her as happy as Namjoon's alphas do because she knows he won't settle for less than the best for her. After all, aren't that what siblings are for? To be overprotective idiots, who have their hearts in the right place?

Or maybe that's just them.

Willing to bury bodies for the other - just to see them smile.

("Definitely just you guys. My older brother didn't give a fuck at all."

"Completely agree with Seokjin oppa there. My older brother told me I probably did something to warrant him breaking my heart - as if I was the reason he cheated on me!"

"He what? Who are we killing Yoonji noona, give us names. I'll have their heads in front of you tomorrow morning."

"And you guys call me the Second coming of Harley Quinn. Fucking hypocrites. But yes unnie, names."

"Oh, don't worry, he regrets it a little too much, we made sure of that back then."

"Namjoonie oppa?!")

So, yes, maybe they're all a little unhinged, but hey, it's okay. At least they have got each other, and isn't that what matters?
