“Fu fu~fu”
“What is it now Kocho?” He asked
“You’re so strict Tomioka-sensei~ this is why students don’t like you~”
She replied in a sweet tone
“Plus,”
“The other students are already spreading rumors!” She yelped
“About?” He said, curious
“You know, me, you, dating,” Shinobu softly replies, looking to see if anyone’s nearby.
“Just ignore it, I already talked to the headmaster. He advised that we ignore it until it dies out.” Giyuu told her while packing up his stuff in his office.
“But-“
Then she was cut off.
“Fine, if you act like that we’ll just get more attention.” Giyuu said, cutting her off mid sentence.
“If you say so sensei.” Shinobu lets out a sigh.
Shinobu then waits for him to finish packing up, the sun is going to be setting soon.
“Tomioka-sensei?”
“What Kocho?”
She hesitates
“Would you..”
Giyuu then looked over from the piles of paper on his desk
“Would I what?”
“Would you maybe want to...” she hesitated again
“Just say it.” Giyuu’s impatience is now showing
“Tanjirou invited me and Kanao to his bakery but... they both have a crush on each other so I don’t really want to interrupt them but it’s disrespectful to turn down an offer so I was thinking if you would go with me!” Shinobu then blurted out
“So you want me to go with you, to Kamado’s Bakery?”
She nods
“Because you don’t want to interrupt your sister and Tanjirou’s relationship?”
She nods again.
“Why not someone else?” He curiously asked
Silence fills the room once again.
He’s right, why Giyuu? Out of all the people she could’ve chosen, Giyuu Tomioka?
“Well...I..” Shinobu was clearly trying to come up with a good reason
“Do you want to go or not?!” She shouted at the teacher
“Well...”
Giyuu hesitates
“Sure. But make sure to come up with some excuses in case we’re spotted.” He answers
“Alright! It’s on Sunday around 4:00, meet you there!”
Shinobu was shocked, but at the same time some-what happy.

Today’s the day,
Kanae dresses Kanao while Shinobu pick what to wear.
She had time choosing either a cute, white dress or a crop top with a pair of shorts.
She choose the white dress in the end.

She arrived at the cafe with Kanao, Tanjirou delightfully greeted them both.
“Shinobu-San! Kanao! Welcome! Sit anywhere you like, I’ll be right there!”
“Such a hardworking boy, don’t you think so too Kanao?” Shinobu teased
All she got back was a blush as Kanao sat down.
5 minutes has passed but she saw no signs of him.
Kanao watches as Tanjirou talks to customers and serves them. She doesn’t seem to be noticing how long has passed.
Then Tanjirou approaches their table,
“Sorry for the wait! What can I get for you today?” He asks
“Uh.. I... want... the... uh...” Kanao stutters as she try to not look Tanjirou in the eyes
“She would like a chocolate cornet please.” Shinobu cuts
Kanao face lits up, secretly thanking Shinobu for answering for her to save to awkwardness.
“Good choice! And you Shinobu-san?” Tanjirou asked again as he writes down Kanao’s order
“I would like 6 sugar cookies, 2 chocolate milkshake, and a sundae with sprinkles too please!” Shinobu told Tanjirou
“That’s a lot of food just for you Shinobu-San, is someone else joining you two?” Tanjirou questions as he writes down the order
“Well...I..” Shinobu never thought she would stutter like this,
“It’s fine if you don’t what to talk about it!” The boy apologizes
“Well! My shift is almost over! Kanao, would you mind helping me with Mr. Rengoku’s homework today?” Tanjirou asked Kanao
“Uh..I would mind... wait no.. I..” Kanao stutters yet again.
“She won’t mind! Just come right over here after you’re done we’ll be waiting!” Shinobu said, cutting the awkwardness between the two of them.
“Alright! Thanks!” Tanjirou then moved on to the next customer.
“Thanks..sis...” Kanao mutters silently
“You’re welcome, you really need to work on your communication skills though Kanao!” She teases Kanao
Then the door bell rang as a customer enters
He was wearing a causal outfit, it doesn’t really stick out from the rest, Tanjirou greeted him and then Giyuu took a seat at a table.
“Kanao, I have to go to the bathroom for a bit I’ll be right back.” Shinobu said as she grabbed one milkshake and the sundae in one other hand, also bitting a whole cookie in her mouth.
And she left for that table.
Kanao wonders if she really need food to go to the bathroom...
“Phew” Shinobu sighs as she sat down at his table.
“Why so many food?” He asks
“It was an accident! I didn’t mean to order-“ Shinobu lies, the food was for him, and only him.
“It’s fine.” Giyuu replies
They sat while watching Kanjirou and Kanao interacts with each other.
“Is that your sister?” Giyuu asked
“Took you a while to find out.” Shinobu teases
Then the bell rang again.
“Rengoku-San! I heard this place is really good! Let’s all try it out!” Mitsuri told Rengoku while shoving him in.
“Shit.” Giyuu suddenly remembered something he wishes he would’ve remembered earlier.
Today all of the teachers will go out for lunch.
Why here? Out of all places?
“Tomioka-sensei? What do we do now?” Shinobu said, worried
“Go back to your table. Make sure they don’t notice.” Giyuu instructed
“Alright.”
Shinobu walked causally to the table she sat at before, avoiding any eye contact
But she forgot about another obstacle
“Ah! Shinobu-San! I thought Kanao said you went to the bathroom, but the bathroom’s that way...” Tanjirou points to the other direction
“Well... I, was buying some things
From outside!” Shinobu winks at him gesturing that she was buying ‘you-know-what’ for her period
“Ohhhh! Sorry to ask! Please continue on!” Tanjirou apologizes
“alright!” She replies
But then Tanjirou also notices something else
“Isn’t that your sundae with Tomioka-sensei?” Tanjirou questions
Tanjirou knew something was going on, he never took Giyuu’s order and Shinobu was the only one who orders sprinkles on a sundae.
“...”
“Shinobu-san?” Kanao calls out, peeking behind her seat
Just then the teachers noticed Giyuu
“Giyuu! What are you doing here all alone? Are you on a date?” Uzui shouted
Tanjirou’s head turns to Shinobu in shock
“No! It’s not like that! We’re just here to work on and assignment!” Shinobu denies
“Ah, alright, have a nice day then Shinobu-san!” Tanjirou rushed into the kitchen
“Shinobu-Chan!” Mitsuri shouted across the bakery
“H-hi Mitsuri-sensei”
Shinobu said while cursing under her breath
“Good to see you here! Would you like to have lunch with us too?” Rengoku cheerfully asked
“S-sure! I’ll be right back” Shinobu then walked to the counter to pay for the food.
After all, it’s not polite to turn down an offer...
“Thank you for eating with Kamado bakery!” Tanjirou said
Tanjirou was forced to go back to his work because more customers had arrive according to Kanao
As Shinobu head to the table of teachers, she noticed Giyuu, quietly eating her sundae yet he’s not sad, he might actually be enjoying it.
“Shinobu-Chan! Over here!” Mitsuri waves at her
Shinobu found a seat at the crowded table,
next to Giyuu
The teachers talked mostly about grades, students, and other personal problems that she doesn’t want to get into. But sometimes they’ll invite her to join in.
On the other hand, Giyuu ate the sundae and drank the milkshake without saying anything,sometimes the teachers will try to involve him in the conversation, but he’ll just nod and say nothing.
The day went by and now she have to go, Kanae texted her.
“Please excuse me but I have to go now, thank you for having me!” Shinobu excuses herself
“Ah! Any day Shinobu-Chan! Goodbye!” The art teacher shouted
After they all bid they’re farewell, Shinobu turns to exit with Kanao.
“Bye.” Giyuu told her
“So you do talk Tomioka-Sensei!” She teases which made the teachers giggle
Giyuu turns back to his cookies.
Shinobu smiles and leaves

“Hey sis...” Kanao mutters
“Yes?” Shinobu answers
“Are you and Tomioka-san... dating?” She asked
“...” she blushed a deep shade of red

“Hey Giyuu” Uzui said
Giyuu looks up from his 3rd sundae with sprinkles.
“Are you and Shinobu dating?” Mitsuri asked
“...”
He doesn’t know it but his ears are red.
“no?” Giyuu manage to answer
“Sure? Because your ears are re-“ Rengoku didn’t get to finish
“I have to go grade papers.” Giyuu said grabbing his bag and speed-walked our the door.
“But it’s the end of the year...” Uzui added as Mitsuri shrugs
