Chapter Text
What..?
”Tomioka-San~”
who..?
”this is why everybody hate you, you know!”
Where am I?
“Tomioka-San!”
Giyuu’s eyes opened up in a hurry
“Thank god you’re awake Tomioka-San!”
There stood Tanjirou, bright as the sun.
“Phew, the medicine did work.” A strange girl with dark blue pigtails stared down at him with a sigh of relief, then proceeded to walk outside.
“Are you feeling alright Tomioka-san?” Tanjirou asked with a worried look on his face
“Yes, better.” Giyuu blankly answered
He couldn’t recall in details of what has caused him to be in this state, and who the bitter-sweet voice in dream belonged to, it sounded oddly familiar.
All he remembered before this was
Running, lots
Fighting
And a crow
He looked up at his surroundings, he wondered, it smells very familiar.
If like he has been here for at least a hundred times or more before.
Tanjirou seeing the confusion in Giyuu’s face
“Do you remember this room Tomioka-san?”
Tanjirou looks as if he is quietly holding back tears.
“Tomioka-san do you remembered anything from last week?” Tanjirou asked as his voice cracks.
“A crow.”
“A crow?”
He felt like that was important.
“It said something,”
Tanjirou pauses as tear drops after tear drops races across from his eyes to his cheeks and exploded on the cold hardwood floor.
Giyuu felt the urge to ask him is there anything bothering him.
“Is there something wrong?”
“No no! I’m alright!”
Tanjirou then wipes eyes onto his sleeve, drying them.
“Excuse me Tomioka-san, but I have to go for a little while. Feel free to explore,”
Then a girl with a side ponytail held up by a butterfly clip pops out of the door.
“Are you ready? The meeting will begin soon.”
Her voice sounds almost like the one he’s look for, but still not it.
“Goodbye Tomioka-san! I will come visit later!”
Tanjirou rushed out the room and into the hallways
Now he’s all alone.

After some time Giyuu decided that he would just walk around for some fresh air, after all severe injuries like this was no stranger to him because he is a pillar.
He proceeded to get up and stretch for a bit, then glanced around the room for anything interesting to explore.
There were just plants, a medium size desk that has a bunch of weird packets.
Packets..?
Then, it hits him
Wisteria powder
He then rushed over to the desk and examine the packets.
It is wisteria grounded into a strong powder.
Now he felt like there was a mission for him to solve.
Something.
He wanted to ask Tanjirou but he figured it was a touchy subject so he didn’t.

As nights go by, he kept dreaming of the voice along with more details, she has a butterfly shaped pin, beautiful black hair with purple at the end.
But.
He never saw her face.
When he tried to he would wake up before he could get a glance or two of the woman of his dreams.
He thought it was hopeless to get a glimpse of her face. He would just wake up, so he quit trying to look at her face.
Dreams after dreams Giyuu noticed that she was petting something and also humming a sweet tune that he wishes would last forever.
When he tried to see what she was petting it would have the same effect as trying to see her face.
He woke up.
It’s almost like his brain didn’t want him to see or know what he wanted to find out. Who was this beautiful woman?
••••
It has been a week since he woke up and Tanjirou visited him often, but almost every time he will have to go to a meeting.
The pillars meeting to be exact.
Giyuu wonders what they are talking about and then an idea came to his head.
He could ask one of the pillar about the mysterious girl!
Rushing to change out of his patient gown and into the uniform and the harori Tanjirou has left for him in case he recovered.
Giyuu then slide the door open in a hurry and ran to the nearest exit, passing the three girls and the girl Tanjirou called Kanao. The girls were surprised at how quickly he managed to recover, it would usually take about 2-3 weeks for an injury that severe.
Then he sprinted to where the pillar’s meeting usually were held.
As soon as he got there the pillars were about to be dismissed to their missions, they didn’t notice him though. So he figured he shouldn’t bother them, he should talk to them in their free time instead.
He needed to figure out who that girl was no matter how long it took, he felt something between them.
