Chapter 1: Cass is struggling with reading, and when she asks Babs to read to her, Oracle is delighted to oblige. Reading sessions with Babs start becoming a regular thing...and Cass starts having a little fun with her family.
Updated w/ Chapter 2: Babs is paralyzed from the neck down and having flashbacks to the worst night of her life, but she refuses to let a little thing like that stop her. Cass is marching off to die and Babs is going to do everything she can to save her.
“I…I don’t know how to do this,” Babs admitted, hating how her voice shook. “ What have I gotten myself into, Dinah? I keep failing her."
“You’re raising a traumatized former child assassin who used to be completely isolated from the world. I think you’re doing okay.”
