Summary
Atsumu Miya did not wake up planning to get kidnapped by a comic book.
He was just trying to survive another boring shift at his burnt out job at a comic book store and figure out a way to get Sakusa Kiyoomi, a customer who probably spends most of his time sanitizing the comic’s instead of actually buying them, to start a conversation that doesn’t end with him judging Atsumu on his life choices. But when he literally falls into the pages of Inkborn, a dark, crumbling universe full of secret identities, shadow monsters, and intense people with even more intense weapons, things escalate fast.
Now he’s tied to a chair, surrounded by suspiciously attractive heroes who think he might be the enemy. (Spoiler: He’s just confused.)
Atsumu didn’t ask to be part of anyone’s tragic backstory.
But if escaping this ink-and-paper world means helping a group of emotionally constipated superheroes, solving old mysteries, and possibly punching some corrupted creatures in the face?
Well… fine. But someone better tell him where the exit is.
