Guel lifts the orange keychain, presently moonlighting as a pendant, and asks her, “So? What do you think?” With the confident air of a guy who didn’t just pick whatever flowers had color within his reach in the span of 5 minutes, and then tied them up in the twine that came with the box of pastries they bought along the way. But, it’s not…bad by his standards! There are red flowers, blue ones, purple, even yellow ones! Those are the basic colors of a bouquet, right? Or something to that extent.
But after a long hum, the only thing that Ericht tells him is, “I dunno, I’m not Miorine.”

Once upon a time, Suletta wouldn’t have been able to imagine the kind of day she’s having: Far away from the Outer Space that she knew, nestled in the soft comforts of Earth’s natural bounty, her hand upon the pulse of the man she once met as an enemy and is now her friend—one of her dearest. When he confessed his feelings to her, she didn’t even regret that she turned him down, even though those were her favorite parts in the movies she watched with Ericht.
Even to this day, though, and now that her heart has settled and is free to yearn for more, there’s nothing to regret. In her left hand are two of the most important things in her list: Miorineʼs everlasting love, and the warmth of Guel’s skin.
