"You would do well to be wary of the storm," the man says to the girl.
"Oh, the storm? That storm?" She laughs, turning her head up to face the grey skies and storm clouds. "Why?"
"It's dangerous," he replies solemnly, eyes haunted by something long past. "It takes and takes and doesn't give back."
The girl laughs again, high and reedy and slightly unhinged. "You mistake me. I am the storm."
