Katara has been his one constant--she has sent him dozens of letters from the South Pole like a lifeline across the globe. Two more knocks on the window pane, and she watched from the corner of her eye his body turning in her direction. No flinch, no surprise. Then Leon lifted the pane, which got stuck half-way until he gave a stronger shove, with a grunt leaving his mouth.
“You know you can just knock on the door like normal people do, right?” he muttered, dryly.
“If this were a normal visit, I’d agree.”
