Summary
An assortment of stories, vignettes, and flash fics concerning the life of Todd Hewitt before the coming of Viola Eade. I chose to make a collection rather than a series because the stories can be read in any order you like. They emulate the style of Larry Niven's "Known Space" novels in that they aren't chronological, but each story makes mention and reference to other happenstances taking place in other locations or at other times, which eventually become their own fleshed out stories. So, instead of a series, more like a web of interconnected stories.
If you would like to play along and add your own story, all I ask is that you acknowledge the purpose of the collection, its intended style and format, and that you not contradict or make void things that have already been written. Also, please know that playing along means I may very well use mentions in your story as launchpads for new ones, in the spirit of the collection.

Summary
A collection for stories - regardless of fandom or genre or trope - wherein characters who represent bears, wolves, otters, silver foxen, and of course all things Ursine, are celebrated and enjoyed. I like "off the shelf" hotties as much as anyone, but I prefer writing stories about characters who are often forgotten or ignored because they don't conform to idealized standards of beauty. I write stories for *those* characters because they are more like me in real life, more like most of us in real life, and I'm not into supporting the cultural paradigm that makes them "the really good friend" or worse.
