After an intensly disturbing case Ian intends to lie low and deal on the way he stops to see his friend the innocent and wholey good professor. However he finds Charlie sick sobbing and with a red mark on his cheek. Affected by the case and Charlie's state he picks up the professor and takes him to his hidden cabin.
