Advice for Potential Writers:
Go for it. Whatever you want to write, do it. Don't listen to people saying that it's a dumb idea or that you'll never be good at it. As long as you're doing it because you enjoy it, you'll benefit from doing it. And if you enjoy it, it's likely others will too, even if there's obvious problems with grammar or something. Just consider it to be practice so you can write better stuff later.
Also, past fics, while sometimes embarrassingly bad, are also milestones of how far you've come. You can edit them if you want to, or delete them from the archive (although turning them anonymous or putting them under a different Pseud might be better than the last option), but I'd recommend saving them somewhere, even if you're the only one who can see them. That way, if you're ever discouraged with your current writing, you can see how it's at least better than what you previously wrote.
