Summary
Three years after leaving for Brown, Shauna has learned how to live without Jackie, or at least how to survive the distance between them. They see each other on holidays, exchange brief updates, all while pretending nothing between them was left unsaid.
So, you can imagine Shauna’s surprise when Jackie asks her to visit her at Rutgers for the weekend.
Valentine’s Day weekend.
Jackie has a boyfriend. Shauna knows that. Why the hell would Jackie have her come over and NOT her boyfriend?
As old habits and long-buried feelings resurface, Shauna is forced to confront the question she’s been avoiding for years…
