Bio

I am a long time lurker on various fanfic sites, and very occasional writer of fanfic too. I live in London with my partner, our cats, and an eternally increasing stash of yarn.

I actively campaign again the abuse of apostrophes and improper use of the English language, and for greater recognition of the Oxford comma.

I love science fiction, fantasy and anything where I have to use my brain, whether it is in TV, film, books, comics or radio. I am probably old enough to be your mother and I like knitting. I probably won’t try crochet though.

I am also old enough to know better. I often don't though...

It may sound picky but I pay attention to summaries. If they are mispelt or say "lol - I suck at summaries" or "this is horrid/rubbish but please read it anyway", I won't. If you don't care enough about your story to give it a summary or at least to even encourage someone to read it, why should I waste my time?
