He gets a far-away look in his eye, and sits on the dining chair nearby. As if nothing happened, he goes through the motions of taking off his snow-covered shoes, and takes the beanie off his head. He sits there for a second after doing so, not moving, clearly lost in his own head.

He stares up at Kazuma with white-hot expectation, and in the dim light of that tiny room his eyes shine just as brightly as they had in court. What before the trial had been nothing but a half-formed desire now sharpens into need, and pierces Kazuma straight through. He feels it in his lungs, a mortal blow— the words pool in his mouth, and spill out like blood:
“Come to England with me.”

This does not go well for Vox Machina, generally. It goes even worse for Percy, specifically.
Alone, cut off from his party, and being hunted by creatures more dangerous even than the Chroma Conclave, it will take everything Percy has just to survive.
