Summary
The air seemed to buzz in the way that can only be caused by a distinct combination of too much sun and not enough water in the local atmosphere. To a casual onlooker, that is, all denizens of the tri-state area, every object ironically swam before their eyes in the waves of heat generated and bounced off of, well, everywhere. Days like this were the bane of every parent’s existence as children begin generating ideas left and right to fill a 8-hour, school shaped void. Some of them were innocent and, while unoriginal, still great plans such as going to the pool or having a water balloon fight. Some of them were more…unique. They could be surfing tidal waves, creating nanobots, or saving the world then forgetting about it. These were the ideas of the Fletcher-Flynn boys (and company) every summer until high school. Here are a few snapshots of summer days over the years and after.
