Summary
Barty Crouch Jr. is just trying to survive Hogwarts without turning into a complete nightmare of a human being. He doesn’t want to be like his dad. He really doesn’t. But sometimes, he feels like he’s just a few bad decisions away from being the next Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, or worse. Although what could be worse, he doesn’t know.
This is a story about a boy who can’t stop moving–running, fighting, you name it–and a world that isn’t quite ready for him. It’s not pretty–nothing about Barty Crouch Jr. ever is–but it’s something, even if that something is a dumpster fire from hell.
This is going to be a long one, folks, so buckle up. Barty has a lot to say, and it’s high time he gets the mic.

When Ilya had pointed out the obvious problems with this plan – he wasn’t a nerd, and this was a stupid idea – Shane had just rolled his eyes and told Harris they’d find time on the schedule.
