What wasn't wrong? Binghe was out of the Abyss two years too early, and the plant bodies weren't ready, and Binghe had never been an omega in PIDW—which meant that whatever revenge scheme he had cooked up was so far outside of the original plot that there was no way for Shen Qingqiu to plan for it.
And then there was the fact that, despite everything, Shen Qingqiu couldn't stop noticing how good Binghe smelled.
In which Binghe is an omega (eventually), and Shen Qingqiu is an alpha (eventually), and they both manage to work things out. Eventually.

After learning why his aptitude for killing is increasing at such an incredible rate, Takumi has a lot on his mind. A quick lie-down and meltdown later, he's banging on the door to the very person who nurtured that talent.

"Now, Takumi… I have a proposition for you."
He strokes back a tuft of blood-caked hair from his face.
"I'll just need you to trust me."
Those words finally snap Takumi back to his senses. He meets Yugamu's eyes, searching them as he silently repeats what he'd just heard.
A 'proposition?' From him? His gut warns him that that can't possibly come without some ulterior motive attached, but Yugamu's face is difficult to read. It almost always is.
Nevertheless, he cautiously takes the bait.
[After a terrible accident beyond the school grounds, Yugamu offers Takumi a favor. Things get a bit out of hand.]
