Bio

I'm a fangirl and a nerd, as so many of us are. My first foray into science fiction was Wrinkle in Time then The Hobbit and LotR as a kid. I grew up watching Buffy but not following it and not involved in the fandom. I got into fandom through Firefly but it wasn't until Supernatural (freshman year of college) that I really got into fanfic. That introduction to fandom slingshot me into Doctor Who, Torchwood, Teen Wolf, Sherlock, Being Human, BSG, Dollhouse...if it's nerdy I like it.

I'm also a huge comic book fan, I love Cap and ship Cap/IM and Steve/Tony. I am a big fan of Batman as well, but mostly stay in the Marvel universe.

I'm also a knitter and am working on a Doctor Who scarf. I paint and recently painted myself some awesome flats (one Marvel on TV shows [SPN, DW, Sherlock, TW, FF, and Buffy). I'm in the process of sewing a "fangirl blanket" it's a T-shirt blanket made from a variety of fangirl shirts I've collected from Wonder Woman to SPN.

Little known fact, when I was about...10 I read my first fanfic, and that probably was my actual introduction to fandom. The fic was a Newsies fic Jack/David with a Spot Collins cameo, and I love Spot Collins. I've never been able to find that fic again.

I'd really like to get into Pod fic'ing, so if anyone is cool with it let me know!
