I'm somewhere between 20 and 80 - depends on my mood each morning! I live in Washington, DC and work here as well simply so that the dog can eat and I can write fan fiction. Stargate Atlantis is my first love when writing, although I have a new fondness for Steve and Danny on the remake of Hawaii Five-0. Alex O'Loughlin is so easy on the eye and moves so ... sensually. Who wouldn't want to write something that told the logical, obvious next step in their relationship.
After cutting my teeth on fan fiction, just like every other writer, I started to create my own characters and my own scenarios in settings of my own creation. I am beyond happy that I now have 20 books published.
