Bio
I'm a master's student in psychology, specifically interested in the study of human sexual orientation. I'm actually just about to be published for the first time in one of the best journals dedicated to the study of human sexuality. ^_^
Meanwhile, I've been writing since I was a little kid, and writing fanfiction specifically since I was about thirteen years old. Around a year after that I started regularly using the Internet, and I discovered that other people were doing the same sort of thing I was. I devoured as much of it as I could, and started posting my fanfics. At the time it was mostly television fandoms...mostly the X-Files, actually. ^^;
I've also been an avid gamer since I was a small child---about eight years old, actually, when my parents got me a Nintendo---so game fandoms have also always been on my radar. Then sometime around the year 2002 or so, I finally got into anime. Most of the stories I've written over the past decade have been for anime fandoms. You can take a look at what I've seen, what I'm watching now, and therefore all my potential fandoms, over at myanimelist.net. ^^
I do have a few overarching obsessions I keep coming back to over and over as the years go by, though, both in terms of my reading habits and in terms of writing, although that might not be reflected by what I post here---I don't always feel confident enough in what I write to post, after all, especially since I often leave WIPs sadly hanging as I flip around from obsession to obsession. ;) My primary obsessions, the ones I keep coming back to time and again, are as follows: Babylon 5, Card Captor Sakura, Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross, and Vampire Hunter D. A weird mix, I know, but I can't really explain how my mind works.
I almost exclusively write erotic fiction---in my fannish life, as in my professional life, sex compels me. ^^ I write yaoi (slash), yuri (femslash), and het. I hope there'll be something for everyone.
