Summary
Fluffy story about Jiyan joining the Gulpuff Relay Race (or at least trying to), but he's missing a teammate. Last minute, he runs - literally- into a stranger who helps him out. But why does he feel so familiar?
-> added a fluffy and a little bit steamy chapter 2“Please wait! I hit you pretty bad – are you sure you’re alright?”
“Get your hands off me.”
The hostile hiss stung on Jiyan’s skin and he felt even worse when the man abruptly shrugged his hand off.
“I’m sorry. That was rude of me.”, Jiyan swallowed hard as he began following the man who seemed eager to get away from him.
“It’s even ruder to annoy strangers on the street. What are you, a beggar?”
“Well, actually…”, Jiyan laughed awkwardly, remembering why he was rushing all over the plaza in the first place, “I really might be begging right now.”
“Huh?! Why would the revered General of the Midnight Rangers go around and beg?”, the man snarled out, disgust written all across his face, “Aren’t you ashamed of yourself?”Series

Summary
Five times Jiyan felt sorry for bothering his General and one time he didn’t.
Cause I read a reddit thread and it said 'What on ao3 makes you realize you're old and the top post was knowing 5+1. WHAT?! I'm not old. I... I'm not...
"I do not recall clinical assessment taking so long. Do you really have the gall to ogle your general?”
On the inside, Jiyan prayed that he didn’t flinch half as much as he feared. Wearing his best customer-face, he made eye-contact with his superior and calmly explained: “I’m sorry to bother you, Sir. But contrary to your former treatment, at least judging by the extensive scarring on your body, I pride myself in providing the best medical care to my patients.”
“I don’t need the best care. I just need this wound to be stitched. Now.”
“The wound caused by the poisonous fangs of a Dreadmane with which you rolled down half a dune hill?”, Jiyan snorted as he carefully began cleaning the wound, “If you’re keen on being in the mortuary in a few days, sure.”Series

Summary
Sometimes Jiyan looked at his former general and wondered if this was all just another of his hallucinations or a cruel dream.
However, Geshu Lin's phantom was never just gentle and defenseless, never let him enjoy his presence without stinging words. Never before had hope seemed so elusive, so painful.Jiyan has learned to lead, to endure, to bury the bodies — but he never learned what to do when the man he mourned comes back alive.
