Bring on the constructive criticism on my fic. No guarantees I’ll run with your suggestions, but I’m open. Even if it’s just relatively minor stuff like using an Americanism when my character’s British, or I failed to catch a typo, please let me know.
If I failed to respond to your thoughtful comment or story or crapped out abruptly through an exchange, I’m sorry. I’m a total flake who has a problem with either responding way too much or too little and I have a huge procrastination problem when I want to leave a well-deserved detailed reply, and though I know what I want to say, it always seems such a huge task to sort through it all, type it, and hit post, after constantly debating which parts of my rambling will be welcome. It ends up feeling like homework and I hate homework so I procrastinate until it suddenly seems inappropriate to respond so late. But I know that both the talented authors whose work I frequently devour and the people nice enough to comment on my own shit deserve better, so I’m trying to be better about that. Especially since I know how much a little bit of feedback can mean to someone.
Thank you to anyone who’s sent even just a kudo my way. Just knowing that I can actually have *some* meager success entertaining someone with my words alone — even if only non-professionally — is priceless.
