Mike wants to tell him not to go, and that Chance isn’t worth this kind of time and effort, anyways. He wants to say that this is a little much for a friendly breakfast.
Instead, Mike just says, “Hold on.”
Mike goes over to his closet, pushes the curtain open, and grabs his light blue and gray canvas jacket. He then goes over to Will and stands behind him and says, “Arms.”

It's spring break of their junior year of college, and Mike is actually pretty happy. Will is the perfect roommate, their five loftmates aren't so bad, and the rest of the party is coming to visit over the break.
But then Will bumps into an old classmate who's suddenly interested in him, and Mike is forced to examine why this bothers him so much.

Thanksgiving Break, 1993. The Party reunites at Mike and Will’s apartment in Manhattan. Mike and Will are two idiots in love but they’d never admit that to each other without some help from their friends.
