Malfoy was never tried, never convicted and does not seem to exist on record. Tasked with facilitating the rehabilitation of someone who hates her back into society at the expense of her own personal life falling apart, it quickly becomes clear to Hermione that something or someone had never intended for him to escape.
A tale of two deeply flawed, deeply sad individuals and the pain that binds them together. This is not a happy story.

Not surprisingly, it only took Zanka a few steps to realize that he hadn't been magically teleported to a faraway land. Instead, he realized that his body felt weird, lankier, taller. He could feel that the clothing on his skin felt different, that the usual training gear had been exchanged for a scrappy and thin shirt paired with shorts full of patchwork. I had originally outlined and began working on a found family fic between Forneus and the Lamb, but realized that a major plot point didn't work well anywhere after finishing chapter 2. Since I had already put in so much effort and I was fairly proud of chapter 1 of what would have been my first fanfic, I decided to make a one-shot collection instead! Some of the chapters will be taken from what I had planned for the original fic, but others will be entirely new.

Mafuyu stood in front of her screen, frozen with horror as Kanade stood in front of Rui, blood falling from her shoulder.

Mafuyu felt like she was moving in slow motion as Kanade stumbled backwards, hand going up to touch the wound.
The broadcast cut off quickly, but Mafuyu could have sworn she saw several more pieces heading towards the villains in the final few seconds.
