Summary
The offer they were given was accepted without question; in truth, they did not have any other choice. There was no point in looking a gift horse in the mouth.
Instead, they would took this opportunity and use it to their advantage. They never asked to become a cult leader, but if this was the hand dealt to them, they would make the most of it. For the Lamb was resilient, resourceful, and had the uncanny ability to adapt to their environment and the challenges at hand. They had to be in order to have survived until then.
And in fact, they found the role to suit them.
What they didn't expected was for Narinder to survive, to be rendered powerless, a simple mortal like any other. It wasn't a bad turn of events, the Lamb held no grudge against the deity, nor would they especially want to see him dead.
Maybe he would be more interesting as a mortal than as a God ? -

Well, Lambert freed Narinder...too bad that he is currently in a mortal body and for some reason there were now two crowns, the red one looking smaller and a new white crown with a cyan eye and neither remember a damn thing about what happened to cause this. They both must navigate treacherous lands with both having to relearn way too much for each other's liking. Though pissed to all hell, Narinder begrudgingly agrees to work with the Lamb in order to fix his crown when a strange being descends and blocks off the entrance to the gate and gives them a task. They soon realize the implications of both being semi-mortal...What happens if beings meant to govern specific attributes of life and death are killed?
They also learned that with their demotions to semi-gods that things that used to not affect them now do...and Narinder is extremely bad at adjusting.

Narinder se demande bien pourquoi le père du chef du culte est aimé de tous SAUF son propre fils.
