Mike isn't coping too well as he spirals into unfinished novels, alcoholism, and therapy sessions while still living in the Wheeler basement. To make matters worse it is Will's birthday, and he hasn't seen or spoken to his "best friend" since they shared a heated kiss at Stacey's graduation party nearly two years ago.
