Young and barely out of his lab Homelander knows little about the outside world and even less about people; nor does he care to. So Edgar making him the captor of a non-Supe is like handing a gorilla a newborn kitten. Keeping her alive will be a miracle and Homelander doesn't believe in those.

The leader, the big dog, the fucking Homelander is the worst, actively hunting people down and killing them for fun. He was going to get revenge for the innocents that died and make him accountable. This is war, and he has absolutely nothing to lose.

Vought is proud to present the TWO supes who will be filling in while Lamplighter is away on a secret mission; Dusk and Dawn. The twin dynamic duo are speechless at this offer, and hope to maybe earn a permenant spot on the team...
Or at least that's what Vought sold it as, in reality Dusk couldn't wait to get back to the "real world", however, during their time at the tower, the two earn the attention of two of the heads of Vought's hydra like being; Stan Edgar and Homelander.
What was meant to be just a few months, a year at most, over seas playing temp may have set the two on a far different path than they could have planned.Set between Lamplighters removal from the Seven and Starlight joining, the first part of so far four but that may increase.
