Talon only has one mission. One purpose in its life. That purpose is to protect the young Talon it has claimed as its family. Only Talon can't protect the child on its own. It can't stop the Court from killing the child. So Talon's only hope is to find outside help. Only the Bats are really bad at swearing they would protect 'it'.
Also, Talon would like to know who Tim is and why the bats keep calling it Tim?!
Also known as Talon(1) babysits a Talon(2) and to protect Talon(2), Talon(1) plans to throw Talon(2) at the bats and leave. Unfortunately, the bats don't agree with the 'never see Talon(2) agian' part of the plan or the part where Talon(1) has to go back.

So, Tim does the only thing he can, persevere.
Oh shit, is he getting attacked by the Court after said Gala? Good thing he has a new little brother to watch his back, because it's harder to resist orders the longer the night goes on.
Technically a sequel to Trim Your Talons, Little Robin. Do not have to read that for context.
