“How kind of you to join us,” said a man in a black suit, someone Donnie only recognized from videos: Agent Bishop, head of the Earth Protection Force.
“You took our brother,” Donnie replied. “You didn’t think we were just gonna let that slide, did you?"
Though less common than the Knight’s Opening, the Bishop’s Opening is a solid first move that gives you an array of options if you’re a sharp player with a fondness for tricky games. With this opening, the player uses their first move to put their bishop in control of the center of the board.
Likewise, Agent Bishop and the Earth Protection Force have placed themselves front and center on New York City's stage, but when you keep making mistakes, the spotlight isn't always a good thing.
And kidnapping Hamato Leonardo was one massive mistake.

Donnie squeezes his eyes shut, and attempts to gets away from the claws coming down on him to no avail.

something or someone finally got through him, "wha-what?.." donnie could only mutter, stress was all over his face, painted with it on. "donnie..are you okay?.." the soft shell turtle didn't even notice his older brother had put two hands on his shoulders, donnie looks up at him
"im..im fine.." donnie (gently but firmly) pushed raph away before staring at a very injured leo on the med-bay bed. donnie could only gulp on how to even fix this somehow..
"im..im gonna fix this..somehow.." donnie muttered, putting on gloves but shakes as he does so, all he needed to do was patch up the shell and fix everything else, like his knee, his arm, and other injuries, easy peasy! right?..but..no, hes not a medic, leo is, hes a scientist, he knows anatomy but doesn't know when something in it breaks and fix it.

The Invasion of New York was no laughing matter, especially not for the Earth Protection Force. What was laughable, however, was the way the EPF handled the Invasion of New York. In other words, they didn’t, so the fact that it had been stopped meant someone else did. Something else. Several somethings, in fact.
This was unacceptable, and Agent John Bishop intended to fix that.
“Sir, Vehicle 254 just reported spotting one of the creatures traveling by rooftop along 5th Avenue.”
“Do they still have eyes on it?”
“No, they lost it by West 26th Street.”
“Alert all other vehicles. If any of them catch sight of the creature, they are to report back to base, and an assault team will be released to their location. Were they able to identify which of the creatures it was?”
“I believe they said it was the one in the blue gear, sir. The one with the swords.”

Mikey talks through most of it, twisting and bending whenever Leo asks, but his jovial attitude can’t hide the pattern of bruises blooming under his scales.

Summary
To protect his family -and the world- Leo makes the greatest sacrifice by trapping himself in the Prison Dimension with the Kraang. He doesn't expect to ever go home or to survive the Kraang's fury, but he tells himself that his family's safety is all that matters.
Casey, however, doesn't agree.
Opening another gate, Casey drags Leo out of the Prison Dimension and to the safety of New York. Or, the relative safety, as Leo's already been severely wounded by the Kraang and there's half a Technodrome falling from the sky.
But Casey's already lost his sensei. He'll do whatever it takes to keep Leo alive.

That day there had been so many interdimensional portals that it was surprising there hadn't been a rip in the timeline already. So of course when three turtles try to get their brother back from a hell dimension it goes wrong. I mean, they have Leo, but he's just a little smaller.

When the bros try to get Leo out of the prison dimension, they create a rip in time, so they get Leo from 7 years ago, so of course their time Leo goes in place of the 7 year old. Fluff commences and so does the healing process.
But will the Leos get back to their respective times?
