Marinette is crushed by the secrets she must keep from Adrien, made even heavier by the rise of a new and more dangerous butterfly miraculous holder after Monarch’s defeat. Reluctantly, Marinette teams up with Felix, while investigating the growing threats. As the pressure finally breaks her, she grows distant from Adrien, and their strained relationship ultimately falls apart.
Felix is in a strong, loving relationship with Kagami, who has long harbored feelings for Marinette, something Felix knows and accepts. As Marinette and Felix work closely together, he develops feelings for her as well. Instead of letting it create conflict, Felix and Kagami openly confront their emotions, ultimately choosing to welcome Marinette into their bond, forming a relationship built on trust, honesty, and care.

“You never told me why we’re going to Paris, mom.” He said softly. He hesitantly turned to face his mother, still fiddling with the ring on his hand.
His mother’s eyes drifted down to the ring he was wearing for a split second. He caught the dark look in her green irises. It was only for a brief second before it was replaced with that same smile. It still made his heart drop nonetheless.
