Summary
In 1997, Bruce Wayne comes home carrying the weight of an oath he never abandoned. By the end of the year, Gotham forges him into the creature known as Batman. He is a demon shaped out of fear, born from necessity to answer violence with vengeance. For four years, he holds the line alone.

Damian al Ghul is taken from the only home he’s ever known and left in his father’s care without choice, without warning, and without knowing who Bruce Wayne really is. That same month, Stephanie Brown decides that if no one stops her father this time, then she will. She can't afford to be scared anymore. Not when others are in danger.

His life was ultimately spared not by mercy or justice, but by the cataclysmic appearance of a black dragon that razed the town of Helgen and left him with agonizing physical and psychological wounds.
As he struggles to survive in this new land of Skyrim, Tim's main goal is to find a way home. However, this mission is continually derailed by the needs of the locals, his own near crippling injuries, and the looming threat of the dragon he had the misfortune to survive.

Dick just gives him a cheeky grin. "Checking how far the drop is, gotta see if it's worth it."
"Not high enough for you, is it?" Roy just rolls his eyes and starts to head back to the kitchen, turning back to see Dick's face as he gives a parting shot. "Get your greasy forehead off of there, Grayson. Bad enough I've got to keep the seven year old from putting her hands all over 'em, you're supposed to be an adult, you know?"

Logically, she must have known there was a surgical scar on his body from his assassination attempt, the one that put him in the crutch he’s currently using. But she never imagined it, and even if she had, she would never had thought of something so… gruesome. It must not have been a clean gunshot. The union of scarred and natural skin looked almost serrated all around. And the size of the scar itself, it was probably larger than the palm of her hand. The skin was discolored to a deep tan, starkly contrasting on his pale skin. Lucy’s throat felt dry.
“Sorry you had to see that,” Tim says with a small smile, looking absolutely unaffected by a stranger seeing a not-at-all-public mark on his body. Despite his words and tone and body language, his eyes looked like they wouldn’t hesitate to cut her open. Exactly the reaction Lucy or any other stranger would expect from calm, cool, collected, and powerful Tim Drake-Wayne. Exactly the opposite reaction anyone else would have if the roles were reversed.
