On her way, she meets Neteyam who offers to accompany her albeit with some hesitation. Summary
Neteyam wasn’t the same after the accident. Everyone could see it, even if no one said it out loud. He had thought things would go back to how they were, that time alone would fix it but the quiet lingered, heavy and unfamiliar.
So the family decided to leave. A fresh start, far from the city. They traded concrete and noise for open air and the sound of waves, heading for the beach in hopes that distance might dull the ache. Maybe it would be good for them.
For Ao’nung, though, life by the water had grown painfully dull. Every day looked the same as the one before, and with his last year stretching out in front of him, that simply wouldn’t do. It was supposed to be unforgettable. And if nothing was going to change on its own, he figured he’d just have to change it himself.
It started with a bet between his friends.

For months, something unspoken had been growing between them — stolen glances that lingered a little too long, hands brushing during lessons and the not pulling away, right away. What had started as teasing and tension had slowly turned into something deeper, more complicated.

Summary
Ti’eylora has always lived on the edges of the forest clan- too quiet, too fragile, too easy to forget. Born with a weak heart and raised by sisters who never truly claimed her, she learned early how to survive by staying small.
Ti’eylora has never been strong enough for Iknimaya. Never been chosen by an ikran. Never quite been claimed by a family.
The one constant in her life coincidentally remains to be the eldest son of Toruk Makto.
And when he asks her to leave everything behind and follow him to the sea, she must decide.
Is she brave enough to be carried into a future she was never meant to survive?
A slow-burn OC/Neteyam story set during Avatar: The Way of Water.
——
OC insert, I'm following the canon plot though don't worry.
(Ti'eylora is pronounced Ey-lora)
(An heir to Tsahik is a Tsakarem. There can be more than one.)
