Like me, Alec is fed up with stupid theories and loud-mouthed Twitter users raging about em dashes. So, like any decent writer, he goes to a café where a magical barista solves all his problems — including the lack of a boyfriend issue.
This witch hunt against writers over AI and em dashes on Twitter really pissed me off. And what does a writer do when they get angry and want to defend their beloved em dashes? They grab a pen and write. This is my riot in 3,151 words.
All in all, this story isn't just a fanfiction. It's for all those who feel pissed off because AI has taken away our em dashes and Oxford commas. What's next? The comma, or will they tear us apart on Twitter because we put a period at the end of a sentence, and because AI does the same, they'll criticize us for using AI to write?
Wake up, people, it's insane!If this does not stop, those who hunt down punctuation marks and writers will eventually be able to read only AI writing, because those of us who write with heart and soul will simply give up and stop writing.
There is no doubt that AI has no place in art, but publicly tearing artists apart for nothing and generalizing are not the solution to the problem.

After moving to a small town in order to get away from his negligent mother and overbearing brother, Jongwoo begins to notice the odd habits of those around him. Those that he passes seem to be stiff in their mannerisms, talking and acting as if they were actors in a movie. If that wasn't odd enough, Jongwoo begins to notice odd occurences that reappear throughout his daily routine that continue to become more and more prominent.
The paranoia starts to get worse as Jongwoo deals with the strangeness of the town along with trying to keep his new job as a journalist. Eventually leading him to grapple with his previous ideas of morallity and come to the realization that humans are all in the end, animal. Maybe this would be easier to deal with if it wasn't for the odd pale man who barged into his life and began acting as the devil on his shoulder.

His roommate seemed almost just as taken back.
"Oh--- hey, uhm. . ." He seemed like he wanted to say something else, but his mouth snapped shut.
Will blinked away his thoughts of this guy, and straightened his posture a bit. He let his leg fall down, turning his body toward the guy more comfortably. The door stayed open, his hand still on the knob.
"Hey-- uh, I'm Will,"

Will Byers is ecstatic to go to college, residing at UIC in Chicago. Though, an unwanted altercation forces him to change schools. This lands him at NYU, joining his family in New York. He worries about his roommate, crossing his fingers he isn't as bad as the last, but is left with Mike Wheeler. A guitar player with dark clothes, black hair, and is sort of a "Teenage Dirt bag", who just so happens to be the embodiment of Will's exact type. And vice versa.
