His heart was not on the floor, shattered into a few million pieces. Bleeding red and cutting into him with every step he took.
His mind wasn't so twisted into itself that it didn’t even hurt anymore. No, it wasn’t.
He wasn’t feeling betrayed or abandoned. Nope.
Except, that he was. Because Jeff broke his heart again. It's not like he was surprised, honestly at this point, he was more than used to it. In fact, his freezer was already stocked to the brim with ice cream and gelato, and his chick flick movies were organized and ready to go at a moment's notice.
Because at this point, Jeff breaking his heart wasn't an if. It was a when.
