Summary
The sun is warm on Kairi's skin. Idly, she pushes one leg back and forth, digging a faint groove in the sand.
The ocean laps at Riku and Sora's waists. Sora dips one arm beneath the water and splashes Riku, who sputters and tackles him. They both fall under the surface, and for a second the water is tranquil.
Kairi holds her breath.

free day - - poly mounders (Bdubs, Joel, Pearl, Mumbo)
---
Pearl hadn't meant to adopt a dog. She'd only been at the shelter in the first place to visit Sausage, and she'd only been visiting him at work anyway because they were short staffed that day and he'd forgotten his lunch. She worked just around the corner so she grabbed him something during her own lunch time and brought it over, then he invited her to eat with him, and then took her around the dogs, and somehow by the end of the day she was coming back to pick up Tilly.Series

Summary
Phileas doesn't feel at home in the stuffy reform club at all.
Abigail Fix certainly doesn't want to stop being a travel journalist.
And Passepartout? He no longer wants to keep travelling on his own. He has found a home - but not in a place, no, in the people he travelled with.I'm planning to post more in this 'verse, but this fic can absolutely be read as a stand alone work!

Summary
Rose realizes pretty quickly that the way different planets - different cultures even - celebrate New Year’s Day is, well, different. To her, New Year’s is a celebration of a new year, but the Doctor points out that it’s a celebration of the earth going around the sun. There are other New Year’s on Earth, lunar cycles and Hebrew New Year’s.
