Welcome to the sixth Swan Queen Supernova Challenge: Wish Upon A Star!
We are your friendly neighborhood longfic challenge, in the tradition of big bang challenges everywhere, including our very own Swan Queen Big Bang challenge (run by the lovely damelola and writetherest for four successive editions before they hung up their boots).
Our mission is to produce collaborative fanworks between our fandom’s writers and artists — original SQ fanfiction (10,000 words minimum for Supernova, 5,000 words minimum for our spin-off Reverse-Bang style Protostar Challenge) and accompanying fanart or fanvids.

Summary
Emma leaves town without breaking the curse. Alone and homesick in Boston, she begins to write letters to Regina, believing Regina is throwing them away because she never gets a reply. However, Regina is reading them and they change everything for her. 5 years later, Rumple takes breaking the curse into his own hands and Henry must convince Emma to return to Storybrooke to help his mother who is in terrible danger.
