Janaya Week - Day 4: Family
They’ve been together for so long, but nothing has really settled.
They’re together, and they’re happy, but Janai wakes up one day, brings breakfast in bed to Amaya, and realizes she wants more.

Janaya Week - Day 3: Intimacy
It shouldn’t come as a surprise when, in lieu of the first weekend off they both have in ages, Kazi asks her that question.
“Are you going to be intimate?”
Janai opens her mouth to answer, to tell Kazi that, although the word works well in their native language, it sounds way too formal for Common.
And she stops.
What does intimacy mean, anyway?Series

Summary
"You saved my life." Janai said, eyes conflicted as she looked at Amaya. "Twice," she added.
Amaya shyly smiles, nodding.
"How am I going to repay you?"
The General thought for a moment as she stared at the paper in her hands, but she already knew that Janai didn't have to repay her.
Amaya shakes her head. "Don't." Janai's brows knit together, but Amaya writes before she could speak.
"I think you already have. You showed me Xadia, a place so different and so beautiful. You showed me that elves aren't monsters—you showed me something that changed my life. I can't get it out of my mind, and I can't get you out of it either.'
