Sebastian scowls. "What?"
"You know what." Sebastian raises his eyebrows to mirror Sam's, and Sam groans. "Dude. Don't pretend you don't know. What was that? With the," —Sam gestures at the closed door— "and" —He gestures at Sebastian— "whatever that was."
Sebastian feels his face get warm but pretends he doesn't. "It's no big deal. That just... happens sometimes."
"The farmer just casually has a precise and psychic knowledge of where you are at all times and shows up to hand you a rock?"
It's fall of year 1, and Sebastian would like everyone to shut up about the gifts he's been getting from the new farmer.
