Summary
With the dragon Smaug dead and the Lonely Mountain reclaimed, dwarves from across Middle-Earth return to their long-lost home. Leading the way is Dís, the last remaining Princess of Durin's Folk, who is at last coming to the Lonely Mountain—a place she barely even remembers.
Meanwhile, newly-crowned King Thorin Oakenshield is faced with the monumental task of rebuilding the home of his ancestors, while also grappling with the aftermath of the gold-sickness.
