One Sky, One Moon, a New Tomorrow to Build

Chapter 2: Chapter 2

Chapter Text

AN: Warning, Warning. Full Narrator Ham and high octane battle scenes incoming.

“If you’re already dead, then get out of our way!”

A hailstorm of bullets shot from two attractive schoolgirls greeted the zombies mindlessly occupying one of Nagazora’s main streets.

Kiana Kaslana and Raiden Mei were some of the very few that survived the effects of the Honkai Eruption thanks to one being a Stigmata carrier, the other a Herrscher and tons of weapon and ammo stashes the Kaslana (and a certain russky) planted months ago just in case. In her line of job, having the most dakka possible at any moment was a necessity, especially without that lazyass around to make more ammo.

Seriously, why did the old geezer have to be away DURING a major Honkai eruption? His OPness would have solved everything hours ago!

Instead, she and her crush have to survive the fucking zombie miniapocalypse, not to say freaking annoying Honkai Beasts are beginning to manifest.

Like the one that is pursuing them.

They tried to shoot it but their bullets were unable to penetrate its armor. Which nearly got them an early death by flattening if they didn’t jump back at that moment.

“Our guns aren’t even scratching that thing!” Said Mei exasperated.

“And it never gets tired of being after pretty girls like us! Jeez, talk about a stalker.” Complained Kiana. “Where are the heavy weapons when you need them the most?!”

“Target locked.”

That ‘heavy weapon’ just jumped off a nearby roof. Destination: the Chariot Honkai Beast pursuing Mei and the subject idiotka.

Behind the freefalling petite silverette, some kind of hovering humanoid machine manifested: Project Bunny 19C, armed with shield and spear as the most appropriate configuration for the situation.

Powered by gravity and powerful hydraulics, Project Bunny thrusted its weapon towards its enemy, not only obliterating the Beast as well as shattering the surrounding asphalt.

Not that the city officials are still alive (or undead) to complain about that act of accidental vandalism…

Landing without any effort, Bronya Zaychik dismissed her giant robotic weapon, affirming in monotone. “Mission complete.”

“Bronya!” Mei approached her happily. “Right on time! Thanks for taking care of it!”

“Wait a goddamn second!” Oh right, Kiana was also there. “You cannot just appear from nowhere with that… giant robot thingy!” She fumbled in her anger. “And you almost killed me! You, Bratnya!”

Anyone may not notice, especially since 99,9% of the time Bronya sports a completely cold/lazy/apathetic expression, but if you were to squint a little bit, her expression slightly shifted to one of complete deadpan, which she thought would only be used when in presence of another idiotka, though a pink one, instead of the perverted, hotshot white one that was wasting space and time complaining about redundancies that the Bronya doesn’t care about. Da.

“End protection routine for subject Kiana. Set subject Kiana to expendable.” Of course, this ended up pissing off the Kaslana.

“Oi! You really want a war, pipsqueak? I’ll show you one!”

“The Bronya has a victory chance of 99,9999%.”

“Oh yeah? Then I’ve got a 100% chance to win!”

“Children.” Mei couldn’t help but shake her head in exasperation to her current companions and glanced towards the slowly decomposing corpse of the Chariot. Wait, did its shadow move?

“Uh, girls?” Once again alert, Mei pumped a round into her shotgun and got into a shooting ready position. That act of proper paranoia saved her life when that shadow grew yellow eyes and physically jumped towards Mei! Lightning reflexes like her namesake, she pulled the trigger, the buckshot slamming into the dark monster, vanishing into black smoke.

“Mei?! What was that cry and the gunshot?”

“Mei. I detect heightened levels of adrenaline, did an enemy unit appear?”

“I…” Even with all the craziness that happened to her in a single day: becoming a Herrscher, being hit on (in both senses of the word) by a gunslinging girl with a bat, fighting zombies, pseudo-Herrschers and Honkai Beasts… she never thought she would be so… creeped out by what just happened a few seconds ago. After all, living shadows are nothing usual. It must be the Honkai. Yes, it should be. How else something out of a ghost story would appear if not for the apocalyptic force of destruction, right?

However, she didn’t have anymore time to process it for more of the shadows appeared from the ground and took physical forms that she could observe now better: black little humanoids with cartoonish proportions and bug-like antennas, though one of their most concerning features were those shining, unfeeling, pupiless, yellow eyes fixed on her and the others.

And if that wasn’t enough, dark portals in space gave place for more strange monsters: armored ones, fat ones, floating doll-like ones… though they were much more colorful and had a crossed heart-like insignia, they still shared the dark faces with yellow eyes as the living shadows.

“What the hell are those things?!” Kiana shouted in confusion.

“Unknown.” Bronya answered in, despite her inability to feel or express emotions, genuine confusion. “Unidentified method of transportation. Unknown molecular composition… Zero Honkai energy detected.”

“Then, what are we dealing with?” Mei asked no one, sweat breaking out.

Kiana’s eyes were fixed onto the new enemies, face hard in concentration, as if trying to remember something. Like the stories the old geezer told her about.

“Demons?”

Just as the ‘demons’ were about to attack, a blue streak flew towards one of the fat ones, attaching to it while rotating around its body at high velocities only for the fat monster to be yanked off by the blue light, tossing it like a bowling ball to the other creatures. The blue light receded, revealing a spiky brown haired teenager with baggy red and black clothes, armed with an oversized skeleton key!

Hey, Kiana fights eldritch horrors with a baseball bat so why not?

“Hey!” He called out to them, showing a grin. “Need a hand?”

“Hmph!” Of course, Kiana had to show off. “We had it under control, thank you very much!” Mei and Bronya had to resist the impulse to facepalm.

“If you say so.” He just shrugged, not offended by the Kaslana’s bravado, though his face turned serious. “I may not know much about the white monsters and zombies but Heartless are quite dangerous, even the weakest of them.”

“Do you know what they are?” Mei asked, curious, at the same time as Bronya prepared herself to record data about the unusual creatures categorized as Heartless. Even Kiana, despite all her sarcasm and boast, was strangely more subdued than normal, observing the Heartless with such intensity that it’s beginning to scare Mei a little with how out of character she was acting.

“Yup!” He replied in a happy tone. “You could say I am an expert on them at this point.”

“Oh. Really?” Kiana said, grinning while twirling her revolvers and crossing them. “Then why don’t you, I don’t know, begin cleaning or something?”

“Da. Subject idiotka, as obvious as she is, is right in taking initiative. Especially when they’re distracted.”

“Yea- wait, did you just call me an idiot?!”

[Play Devil Trigger METAL by FamilyJules]

In effect, the Heartless were, somehow, patient enough to let them talk though they were actually weary of the key the boy was wielding. As if they were hissing at it.

Finally, one of the shadows lost its patience and tried its claw in attacking the boy, who predictably sidestepped it’s attack and beheaded it into a cloud of darkness.

That seemed like the trigger for the two sides to continue the battle.

The boy just continued ‘bashing’ his key weapon towards the Heartless as if a sword it were, judging by the sounds of it cutting clearly through the monsters and the air. He was also throwing his weapon like a frisbee, not caring about losing it due to returning to him by teleporting back to his hand. Not to talk about him launching elemental attacks from it like fire and ice and his seemingly supernatural mobility in the air, allowing him to maneuver around his enemies as well as towards them at incredible speeds.

Kiana just used one of the armored ones as a trampoline to jump in the air. Striking a cool pose, she got loose in shooting the flying Heartless while rotating in the air, ending up landing a downwards axe kick into the head of one of the fat Heartless, making it stunned. While Kiana used the kick’s recoil to jump into a backwards pirouette, shooting it into the eyes while she was at it, killing it and liberating a cartoonish Heart surrounded in black miasma into the air, just like all the other Heartless with the insignia.

Mei discarded her shotgun in favor of a wakizashi that may have belonged to some yakuza wannabe, who got zombified and whose head made a home run, feeling that saving some ammo would feel wise against those opponents. Not to tell how she was more comfortable, as well as deadlier, using a blade than a gun. Which the Heartless she reaped would testify:

dismembered limb on one side; flying head on the other; some stabs in anatomically vital body points. If the boy and Kiana’s fighting styles were explosive wild dances, hers were a practiced elegant one: fluid as water yet as quick as lightning. Heartless flesh may be hard but so were the powered up zombies, pseudo-Herrschers and Honkai Beasts. It was more surprising the mundane sword still held up despite her and her enemies’ superhuman physical prowess.

And Bronya? Just search for the giant robot using the fat Heartless as wrecking balls, shooting AA missiles to the flying ones and lasering any struggling one that dares approach the Bronya.

Yup, Project Bunny 19C is the best friend a Russian girl can have.

Taking advantage of the distracted giant robot, an armored Heartless tried to kick its levitating master.

Only to underestimate the Silver Wolf of the Urals.

She sidestepped the obviously telegraphed back attack and shot it multiple times with a concealed handgun. She caught another’s claw and stabbed its chin with a knife she also had hidden on her person.

All together, they were making mincemeat of the Heartless like a well-oiled killing machine.

[Play Yellow Line from Redline ]

Suddenly, the earth shook, no thanks to a giant, hulking, heavily metal armored Heartless armed with a Big Fucking Axe going towards them like a freight train!

“A Metal Troll?!” The boy exclaimed in exasperation.

“Are you kidding me?!” Kiana returned the sentiment.

“How are we going to kill it?” Mei asked, breaking in cold sweat.

Bronya just silently ordered Project Bunny to grab one of the few intact cars and throw it at the giant abomination, followed by some missiles.

The Troll just backhanded the flying vehicle, only to be blasted by the missiles, surrounding it in smoke.

Its answer was just to jump, roaring out of the smoke and slamming its axe into the ground, creating a shockwave that rose up a maelstrom of rocks directed towards them.

Our heroes, fortunately, were able to dodge it by jumping, conveniently cleaning away the remaining Heartless though the already abused street was now even more heavily damaged, to the point of demolition.

“Kinetic strike ineffective. Changing to directed-energy weaponry.” Bronya said at the same time Project Bunny changed to its laser, shooting it at the Metal Troll in hopes of stopping it, or slowing it down though it still didn’t show too much progress.

Mei tsked. “We need to retreat, Kiana!”

If she were in an anime or manga, she would have imagined a silhouette of her friend that should be standing there. “Heh?” Wait, wasn’t the spiky haired kid at her side too? There’s another empty silhouette in his place, too. “Huh?!”

Oh, there they were. Running towards the giant dark creature of death and mass destruction like a pair of daredevil suicidal idiots. “HUHHHHHHH?!”

Let’s just say Mei wasn’t amused by that.

“Oi!” Kiana called out to his current partner in crime. “You know how to deal with this motherfucker, right?”

“Just to hit it harder!” He simply said. “And if a Keyblade’s involved, the better! Oh, I forgot!” He remembered. “Name’s Sora!” He introduced himself with a grin.

“Sora, huh?” She chuckled in bemusement. “I once had a cat called like that.”

“Huh?! Woah!” Sora only had a second to complain before he had to dodge the giant axe coming towards him. “I’m being compared with a cat?!”

“Maybe!” She cheerfully answered while sliding below the Heartless, narrowly dodging a stomp from one of its legs, positioning behind it. “And you're not the only one with a magical weapon!”

Outstretching one arm like a baseball batter, a obsidian black bat with wicked spikes and lava-like glowing cracks on its end cap and glowing rings of the same color perpendicularly traversing its barrel like in a pattern as well as bat-like wings above the grip, serving as a crossguard, appeared on her arm in a flutter of sparks.

That, my friends, is Kiana’s own personal Devil Arm: the Hellbat. Yeah, I know the name isn’t too… original but after nagging a certain half-demon slacker for years for a cool demon weapon; him just lazily deciding to try to overload one of her baseball bats with his own demoin energy after a huge bribery of booze, pizza and strawberry sundae; going through many destroyed bats in order to find one that didn’t break and give it to her with a half-assed name while drunk on alcohol and sugar, it somehow exceeded all expectations (if there were any to begin with) by showing unique abilities and bonding with Kiana… somehow.

At the end of that particular day, the homemade Devil Arm worked like a genuine one and Kiana liked it so case closed. Besides, the name fits the aesthetic.

Kiana positioned herself in a batter position, the Hellbat’s glowing parts glowing even stronger, with the parts segmented by the rings beginning to rotate at increasing speeds to the point of generating sparks and producing a noise not that different to an explosion engine, each segment rotating between one direction or the other around its own axis. Once charged enough, with an almost bloodthirsty smirk, Kiana batted up the Heartless’ metallic ass, making it uncontrollably fly forward into the air from a crimson-colored explosive home run!

“Give me strength!” Sora took the opportunity to charge himself with energy and instantaneously his outfit changed color to be a little more predominant in yellow and white.

Taking profit of his power-up, Sora proceeded to unleash a brutal onslaught of brutal aerial combos onto the defenseless Metal Troll just to finish up with a spiral of energy shots that guided themselves to different parts of the Heartless’ body just when it landed.

That wasn’t enough to finish it off so it was pissed off. A lot. It quickly recovered and put on it’s axe as a mask and surrounded itself with a purple aura that made it roar once again.

It turned and proceeded to spit rocks towards the attacking duo forcing them to dodge and take cover until it received a few anti-material rounds as well as missiles on its blind point.

It turned once again only to receive a full on pneumatic spear on its mask that made it , courtesy of Project Bunny 19C, ridden by both Bronya and Mei, who had strapped on her an anti-tank rifle that Bronya had lent her from… somewhere. Maybe one of her weapon caches.

“Jeez Kiana! Don’t run off without warning me!”

“Kiana idiotka’s scatterbrained strategy is stressing Mei and needs work. Firepower support will remedy that. Initiate ‘Ora Ora’ protocol.”

Ora Ora Protocol initiated. Project Bunny announced in a robotic voice before reconfiguring its hands into high caliber shotgun gauntlets. ORA!

Which were put on good use to pummel the Heartless mask to oblivion, bit a bit, in a storm of machine gun-quick fisticuffs accompanied by shotgun blasts; a rain of shells falling off its arms and a lot of Ora’s it was spewing through its speaker.

Oraoraoraoraoraoraraoraoraoraoraoraraoraoraoraoraoraraoraoraoraoraora!

While the Bronya was busy Ora’ing the crap out of the concealed Heartless’ face, Mei jumped off Project Bunny towards the upper part of the Troll, above its head.

“Take this!” Aiming at the fringe between the head and the mask, she fired round after round of .50 BMG APEI, making dents on it and making the Heartless panic at the notion of having its mask ripped off by bullets.

Hey, muggle-grade weapons against Honkai Beasts need to be oversized and powerful to work against their silicon armor so it's also fair against the big bad Heartless covered in metal, too.

Now closer to the finale, Sora and Kiana took advantage of the force that was pushing the Metal Troll backwards to add their own force upfront to its feet, which they batted away from the back, Keyblade and Devil Arm respectively, with all of their strength available and a mighty ORA of their own.

And just like timber, the Metal Troll fell backwards, axe mask shattered beyond repair, with its attackers having jumped to safety, if somewhat fatigued by now.

“*huff* When will that *huff* bastard drop?”

“I feel it’s nearly done.” Said Sora with a tired grin and raised his Keyblade. “And I have something to finish it!”

With a flash, a portal opened behind them, letting out some kind of blue vehicle with toy-looking gun platforms that wouldn’t look out of place in an amusement park.

“What the-!”

“Whoah!”

“How…?”

The car scooped the gang, the girls reacting in surprise (including Bronya), landing up in its seats, each one with its own gun. Sora, already in the front, put on some VR glasses and cheerfully began shooting surprisingly real energy bolts.

“Blast it away!”

The Metal Troll could only squirm with all those bolts impacting against it. when it accomplished lifting its head, it was only to receive a last, supercharged bolt directly to the face, finally vanishing it in Darkness and liberating a giant crystalline Heart.

“Wooh! Even with most of my strength away, I still got this!” He said with a grin and proceeded to high five with an equally enthusiastic Kiana.

“And I dominated it! Not even demon looking monsters were a match for me, Kiana Kaslana!” She boasted, like always.

“Hey! I did most of the work and the others helped, too!”

“That’s right! Mei-senpai also fought hard. Thank you, Mei-senpai~!”

“That’s not- Argh!”

“Enough!” An already tired Mei exploded, shutting up an increasingly frustrating Sora and an increasingly egocentric Kiana. “It’s already been a long day, what with the Honkai Eruption, the zombies, beasts and Herrscher business! Now there are shadowy monsters, a boy with a key-like weapon and even Kiana with a weapon I didn’t see her use before!” Sora and Kiana put on guilty faces when mentioned. “Just… just what is happening anymore?” She let out a frustrated and tired sigh. “Is this even more Honkai?”

“Nyet.” Bronya chose that moment to interject. “Like the Bronya said before, the Heartless didn’t show emissions of Honkai Energy. However, that doesn’t explain their supernatural-like abilities. Same with the male subject and Kiana’s new weapon.” She watched the two of them with suspicion.

“Huh…” Sora scratched uncomfortably his cheek. “Magic?” He came up with a lame smile.

“Just let me.” Kiana gently grabbed Sora’s shoulder in order for him to stop. “My friends, I know you’re confused but this has a completely logical explanation.” She began in a grandiose tone. “And yes, it’s magic!” The gazes of both Mei and Bronya said they weren’t buying it. “No seriously, magic is real. It’s just it comes from another world and…”

“You know about other worlds?!” Sora interrupted Kiana only to close it with his hands when he realized what he’s done, much to the increasing confusion of Mei and Bronya and Kiana’s smugness.

“Knew it!”

Summon

[Play Tension Rising from Kingdom Hearts, any version]

Banjo Ryuga, or Kamen Rider Cross-Z at that moment, officially hated this day. Especially when two (or were three?) days ago he fought in a final battle for the fate of the planet against the alien bastard that has been manipulating him, his friends and all of Japan for his twisted entertainment and who wanted to devour the Earth like a snack!

Not only did a lot of people, including his friends die, he also sacrificed himself (though he got better) in order to kill the abomination, Evolto, but that guy simply refused to die and had to fight him AGAIN in a weird voidy timey spacy thingy! At the very least, they won and used Evolto’s energy to fuse their dying world with another in order to make it so anything related to that sadist never happened! And he and his partner lived, too.

Not that they aren’t unhappy about that but they’re now the only ones who remember the Old World. Not even their friends remember them. Sad but if they were living better lives, why bother them? They deserve that peace.

The thing is, he and Sento, his insufferable partner, had only a nap after the merging of worlds to rest. And not even three hours later, they encountered trouble in the form of creepy shadow monsters that attacked people, extracted some sort of crystalline heart objects and transformed them into more monsters, making the victims disappear in Darkness!

Seriously, he watched it and unnerved him greatly. He almost wished for Smashes or Guardians to be in their places.

Especially when the thing he’s fighting right now is a freaking T-Rex that is A LIVING VOLCANO!

In some place among the omniverse, a certain Tyrannosaurus-based Kamen Rider and his inner demon sneezed at the same time.

And to add more annoyance to the situation, its tail can shoot lightning, which is something it’s doing to try to fry him down only to only hit the abandoned cars all over the highway.

“What are you doing, idiot?!” Sento’s annoying voice cried to him. “Lead it out of the way!”

“I know, I know!” Cross-Z replied back, holding the Volcano Rex’s (provisional name) jaws that were trying to eat him. “But it’s not that goddamn easy!”

In a titanical display of strength that only a yelling muscle-obsessed hot-blooded idiot can think of (and at the cost of more potential material damage to the ground due to trying to violate the laws of physics), he grabbed the beast’s teeth and threw its head, body included, over his shoulders in order to throw it outside the way’s limits and down the hills they were at, overturning it in the process.

“I’ll show you a true volcano, you overgrown lizard!” Said the overgrown lizard-based Rider to the monstrous overgrown lizard, before grabbing the Cross-Z Magma Knuckle and its corresponding Dragon Magma Fullbottle.

Bottle Burn!

Cross-Z Magma! Are you ready? Gokunetsu kinniku! Cross-Z Magma! Achachachachachacha Acha!

After inserting the Bottle into the Knuckles and consequently, into the Build Driver, the Cross-Z Magma materialized around him from the Variable Magma the Magma Ride Builder submerged him with once solidified!

"My power is overflowing...my soul is burning...and my magma is surging!"

Literally hotblooded catchphrase once said, he reached once more to the Driver’s Vortex Lever, in order for its Vortex Charger to build up the energy fooooor his Rider Kick!

Ready, go! Volcanic Finish! Achachachachachacha Acha!

Cross-Z Magma leaped high in the air, accompanied by multiple Variable Magma Chinese Dragons that proceeded to attack the giant monster before merging together in the rapidly descending Rider’s outstretched leg, which ended up landing on the monster.

The result was a huge explosion of ascending magma/lava that was visible from a huge area in the highway.

“That idiot…” Kiryu Sento, in his Kamen Rider Build RabbitTank armor, sighed when witnessing his partner’s lack of finesse… just before dodging one of the tall humanoid shadows’ claws. “Woah!”

Pesky things, really, hit hard, move quick, can take hits and like their smaller cousins can merge onto the ground, making them unable to be hit on. And yes, Sento tried to attack the ground though that didn’t work, unless it was in pissing them off.

He was at the moment, surrounded by those blue veined monstrosities, however, Build wasn’t concerned about himself. He took on worse before.

Propelling himself with his Rabbit leg with enough force to leave a rabbit foot imprint, Sento just took out his Drill Crusher in gun form mid air and twisted his form to point to the appropriately named (provisionally) hellspawn. The Rider weapon’s fire proved enough to dissolve them into black smoke, all at once.

Too bad he didn’t notice the purple fire circle that surrounded him when he landed and exploded, making sparks fly from his armor. “Argh!”

Near him, a winged devil-looking muscled monster armed with a sword reappeared from the same purple flames, leaving it as the culprit.

“Teleportation or invisibility? No matter, I have the Best Match for this situation.” Sento took out the Ninja and Comic Fullbottles and shook them before inserting them into his Driver.

Ninjya! Comic! Best Match! Are you ready?

The Snap Ride Builders containing their respective Halfbodies materialized around Sento at the sound of surfer rock music.

“Build up!”

Shinobi no entertainer! NinninComic! Yeah!

The Builders closed on Sento, enclosing him in his purple and yellow NinninComic form.

“With these equalizing factors, should we continue the experiment?” Exercising his iconic Fleming pose, he produced his 4Koma Ninpoutou at the same time the demon pounced on him, blade first.

When its sword made contact with the ninja’s body, it just exploded in smoke, leaving only a wooden log. Confused, the demon tried to search the Rider, only for the latter to backstab him.

“Your tricks are useless in the face of a true ninja from manga!”

The demon tried to move its sword but was stabbed all around his body by Sento’s ninja clones to the point of being destroyed and dissolving into the same black smoke as the others.

Just what are those monsters? Sento was asking himself that. Much unlike Smash, they manifest from thin air and attack anyone near them, all in order to extract cartoonish Hearts from their victims and transforming them into more monsters, leaving the corpses to dissolve in Darkness. Was some kind of metaphor of the Heart being the Soul taken literally through unspecified supernatural means and getting corrupted like some kind of infection or something? Are they even an autochthonous species from this world?

So little time, so much to learn.

“This is the worst.” Behind the mask, Sento was frowning. “Not even the New World is safe if those are around. We should reorganize our priorities, search for more information…” He took notice of a group of flying dragons. “After we save the people, of course!”

Changing into HawkGatling, he proceeded to the chase of the new enemy. And he couldn’t help but think just how many people were having a bad day today.

Dorm Supply

Cue the Hyperion on route towards Nagazora, being assaulted by Heartless ships.

“What the Hell is this?!”

Something that Murata Himeko definitely didn’t like from this day.

AN: Well, I’m not dead, at least.

Sorry for not updating anything lately, I just finished exams and I am now catching up with the anime and games I had on hold (the REDLINE movies is AWESOME, no wonder I inserted one of the tracks here).

For anyone asking me to give Kiana a Devil Arm, well, here you have it. I admit it was a more recent addition to my stoyplanning but hey, I committed myself to full Rule of Cool and a bit of Narm here so it makes sense. Don’t worry, it has more tricks that you’ll see, same with Dante who’ll have his appearance.

I know you want a new update of Wacky Woohoo Pizza Man & Salty Tuna: Honkai Will Cry but I’m a bit stuck. Sure, I have a more or less general idea but I still need to have all information possible for it to be lore consistent so I’m committed to play the Chronicles chapters, especially Fu Hua’s, as well as rewatch in YouTube the Herrscher of Sentience’s arc (I am still at Chapter 9 of Main Story and man, does that make the story justice. Well, that and I didn’t play all Mt. Taixuan chapters when released). Because, if you read the Spacebattles version, you’ll see it’s about Sparda visiting the Honkaiverse when Fu Hua was around as Master Jingwei. I just need time (and having the creative spark) to finish it. Those events will have repercussions that will appear in the One Sky, One Moon, A New Tomorrow to Build part of the multicrossover, especially the Dark Knight’s impact on Fu Hua and her memories of him.

And yeah, Kiana had a cat. Doesn’t appear in the manga, but it does in the game. So I’m thinking of fusing the two arcs that appear in both the manga and game (like the Sakura Samsara/Gratitude Arc and the search of the Stigmata in Shenzou) and add original touches based on what happens in this story.

Like, maybe, Sakura having more relevance in the story.

Also, magic exists in the Hoyoverse/Sea of Quanta/Imaginary Tree. Teyvat (Genshin Impact), being a high fantasy setting, is an obvious example. However, in the Honkaiverse side, supernatural powers outside of the Honkai only appear in bubble universes outside the main storyline like Sanka Saga or Honkai Quest. Considering Honkai Impact is a sci-fi story, of course the main timeline doesn’t even have urban fantasy elements, however, the Captainverse, which is only accessible in side events and explores the wackiness of the multiverse, can afford itself to be more lax about that.

However, the introduction of a new existential threat in the form of Heartless and, consequently, magic, will have big consequences, especially since they will drop Synthesis Materials when killed; many of them can be dispersed with more conventional weaponry (they still can only be destroyed by Keyblades or powerful attacks of Light or Darkness); doesn’t emit eldritch lethal radiations (though they can still kill you and corrupt you into a Heartless in a more direct manner and probably leave your Body and Soul in the state of a Nobody) and that Final Fantasy (even DMC and Kamen Rider) magic is of the kind that can be/has been exhaustively studied in many of the incarnations of its series annnnnd, you can imagine the possible technological advances that will occur in that world; leading to more frequent and stronger Honkai incursions; leading to more negative emotions that will attract even more Heartless; which will lead to more advances in science and magic in order to try to survive the eldritch maelstrom as well as more experienced warriors, leading to a vicious cycle of escalation.

Which may or may not be my attempt to escalate everyone’s power levels to a point high enough that will seem balanced and no one tries to initiate a vs debate and just enjoy the over the top fight choreographies and character interactions.

Curious information: the current English voice actors of Dante, Vergil and Nero (Reuben Langdon, Dan Southworth, Johnny Yong Bosch) have worked in the Power Rangers franchise, so them fighting alongside tokusatsu superheroes isn’t that much farfetched, especially when they’re also crossing over with a multicrossover between Square Enix and Disney and a Chinese multimedia franchise based around a mobile stylish action game full of anime girls.

Add to the fact Kamen Rider's latest season, Revice, is about demons as well as more recent revelations, the Sparda clan and the Igarashi family may have more in common that many may think. Maybe a GMV/AMV/MAD with liveDevil as well as DMC songs between the two series could be a good idea?

Another curious thing: Bronya Zaychik means ‘Armor Bunny’ and the kanji that form Sento’s name are those of tank (戦車, Sen sha) and the kanji for rabbit (兎, To) which fits with their aesthetic and abilities so here we have two technological metal armored long eared rodents here. Wonder what would happen if Sento had the Core of Reason or Bronya, the Genius Fullbottle.

Notes:

AN: This began as using the idea behind “Blank Slate” of DrWriter21 and “I’m Nobody” by free man writer and Jebest4781 of Roxas ending up there due to Corridors of Darkness to help the Honkai cast and develop his personality but decided not to because I felt I’d end up doing the same or similar to those, so it wouldn’t be original.

So I decided to take Sora’s uncertain destiny after KH3 to put him there. Without more details, I’m running literally blind until Nomura decides to release a trailer for a new KH game. Though I took the lore behind Quadratum, a world on the other side of reality or a fictional world to put the Sea of Quanta and the Imaginary Tree as what are placed on the other side of the known KH universe: an extradimensional space where infinite possibilities exist and Worlds are born from those possibilities.

The Kamen Rider part comes from finishing Build, at which point, I wanted to make a crossover with Honkai as one the Worlds that made up the New World seen in the V-Cinema duology instead of the main Rider multiverse. In fact, Build’s World enters the Sea of Quanta with the portal made with the white Pandora panel.

And like I said previously, this is in the same timeline as Wacky Woohoo Pizza Man & Salty Tuna: Honkai Will Cry so expect also Dante go to town with the enemies of both Kamen Rider and Kingdom Hearts, two high power scale franchises, so even if he’s still one of the top combatants, he’ll be very busy, not to talk about more beings approaching his levels of power.

As for the Heartless being there, well, apart from the Keyblade War and Sora’s Power of Waking making reality destabilized enough to make them enter the Sea of Quanta, they were able to enter the story’s main World due to a combination of two Worlds merging, which weakened its dimensional barriers enough to be broken; a Keyblade Wielder, so of course they would try to kill him first and the god-like power of a demon, a Darkness-based creature, which made Heartless lick their eldritch lips with the irony that the one wielding that unfathomable Darkness isn’t even a full demon and is a cool guy who’s more than an expert killing hordes of darkspawn and has some experience in other extradimensional threats due to his experiences in Project X Zone.

This isn’t going to be a very straightforward plot due to so many characters and settings involved. If you just want a simple tale of a demon hunter and a future Kaslana Valkyrie, Honkai Will Cry will still update, not to talk about adding more worldbuilding that will be present in this story.

Rhetorical question: If you put two hot-blooded Shounen-esque characters from two different settings together, what could happen?
