Why is Fray so frightened of E-Sumi-Yan? Well, that's a story for another day. To put it short, imagine being a certified brat of a kid in the throes of teenage rebellion, refusing to take your teacher seriously because of his appearance, only for said teacher to not only say he taught YOUR (middle-aged) guardian when he was your age, but then proceeding to utterly school you and embarrass you in all sorts of ways for the duration of your conjury studies with him. Like a fantasy version of having your teacher try to strike up a conversation with you at work. Maybe I'll write a fic about it one day, it would be fun to have Ompagne and E-Sumi-Yan be old friends and both clown on Fray and Sid. XP

That Lucient is also kinda middling in Conjury probably doesn't help, but at least E-Sumi-Yan doesn't have any embarrassing anecdotes about him to share like an old grandpa telling his grandkid's date about what they were like as a kid. ♪(´▽｀)

Some more tooth-rotting fluff (literally in this case, given all the cake) because it is Valentione's Day.
