“Cmon Taiga! You should totally go out with that really handsome guy” Yokan told Taiga.
“You should totally listen to what this lady is saying” Pluto told Taiga.
“IM NOT!..” Taiga took a second to relax, he was a bartender in a bar after all, he was obligated to treat the customers and in Pluto's case workers in a polite manner “I don't get what you see in me anyways”
“What's not to see? A lovely smile, a very pretty face plus you're packing an entire bakery down there, a guy like you shouldn't waste their time being single you know” The more Pluto went on the more Taiga blushed.
“S-s-s….so you only like me for my looks!?? That's very shallow of you“ Taiga was so nervous as he talked, still blushing… “And again you're just not my type” Taiga said as he passed more drinks to the people there.
“Well yeah you look gorgeous as hell, that's why I want to go on a date with you, to learn more about you” Pluto responded.
“I…I'll think about it okay, just stop bothering me while I'm working” Taiga said.
He was being distracted by Pluto and Yokan, but he never let them stop him from doing his job, this was very important to him, he didn't want to get fired after all.
“Y'know before I discovered I was a lesbian, I read a lot of magazines that helped me figure it out, maybe you should read some” Yokan recommended Taiga.
“Listen I don't need any figuring out, I have everything I have to know about myself” Taiga said to the two while still taking orders and passing drinks “And can you guys stop distracting me!”
At this point this became a scene for everyone watching, it was entertaining, almost like the three made an audience.
This went for hours and Taiga got so exhausted from being a bartender to dealing with Pluto and Yokan's shenanigans.
Eventually Taiga's shift ended, but before he could leave, Pluto stepped in front of him.
“So do we have a date or not?” Pluto was so persistent.
“No! I…I don't like you! You stupid idiot!”
“Ouch that hurts my heart” Pluto replied with a bit of sarcasm to hide disappointment.
At this point Yokan dragged Taiga away to talk to him.
“Listen here! Don't you want a girlfriend?” Yokan's bluntness insured.
“Yeah and Pluto is a man, so I say no” Taiga was out of his depth. He didn't understand why this random woman showed up and started acting like she's his best friend.
Yokan sighed “There is no difference! Whether it's a man or a woman, Pluto is very interested in you, don't you think that's enough?”
“I-I…” Taiga took a bit of time to collect the words, tearing a bit too “I'm scared, very scared, I never explored, never had the chance to, and…and I'm too much of a bother to everyone to date”
“I understand, I understand how it feels to be scared…” Yokan hugged Taiga in an instant, it surprised Taiga…yet it felt very warm and familiar. “I used to be scared too, terrified of what people might think of me, but I never let it change who I am, don't let the voices of insecurities devour your will”
“I…I appreciate you a lot…even if you're very obnoxious, I don't think I asked for your name, what do I call you?”
“My name is Yokan, now go and say yes, prince charming is waiting for you”
Taiga walked to Pluto slowly and awkwardly, he was still not sure about it, but he told himself there is nothing to lose so might as well.
“Okay I'll go out with you” Taiga announced.
And at that moment Pluto couldn't keep his excitement, a big smiley grin on his face appeared as he raised his arms up in happiness.
“YEAH I PROMISE YOU WON'T REGRET IT!” Pluto shouted as everyone in the bar turned to look at the two, the people in the bar cheered for them.
“I only said yes because you were desperate,” Taiga commented.
“You couldn't let the moment live itself couldn't you, whatever I'm happy either way” Pluto replied.
“I promise you will regret going out with me” Taiga has been going through a lot so his self esteem was to put it simply very low.
“What's with the low self esteem? You're going to have a fun date with me, or are you afraid I'm that bad of an option?” Pluto was persistent, sure, but he wasn't going to push TOO hard.
Taiga sighed “It's not you, I just have so many issues”
“Well I'm ready to figure them out and help,” Pluto said with confidence and kindness.
“Why would you do that? You get nothing out of it” Taiga asked in confusion.
“It's what nice people do” Pluto gave a simple answer.
“Huh…I guess you're not that bad after all” Taiga said as they started to walk outside the bar, chatting for a bit.
Taiga was confused by Pluto, nobody really does anything for free as far as Taiga's life went, no one ever tried to lend a hand.
“It's time for me to go back home, my brother is probably waiting for me,” Taiga told Pluto.
“Oh I can walk you home, y'know this isn't the safest city, I heard someone got murdered yesterday not far off from here” Pluto was concerned for Taiga.
“NO!” Taiga shouted unprompted…”I mean…I don't want to bother you, you probably have someone else to come back to” Taiga didn't want Pluto to come to his house, he was still couscous.
Pluto found it strange but understandable “Believe it or not I don't have anyone to come back to”
“That's…sad, I hope you find someone” Taiga was being sincere.
“Thanks, but I might have already found him” Pluto said with absolute confidence.
Made Taiga go red slightly “Anyways uh bye and see you later”
“Wait, we didn't talk about when and where the date will be!” Pluto said.
“Ah shit yeah”
They talked about it and then gave each other their phone numbers.

Damian woke up next to Raj, they got real busy last night.
Damian did his morning routine as Raj was still sleeping, he made breakfast for both him and Raj…and Forrest, their adopted son.
Raj woke up to Damian making breakfast, Raj kissed his husband with gentleness and comfort as they set the table.
Forrest woke up the last, it seemed like he stayed up late reading books.
They all sat down to eat, Forrest ate Count Chocula cereal, it wasn't Halloween but Damian was able to find some for Forrest as the boy loved it and demanded more.
RING RING! Damian got a call from someone, Damian answered.
“What is it?” Raj asked after Damian finished the call.
“It's work, a man was found murdered with a giant wound in the shape of an X on his chest”
“Ah forensics, well good luck, I'll have to get Forrest to school this time.“
“Thanks sweetie” Damian responded.
They both went to do their own thing as they gave each other a goodbye kiss.
