Chapter 2: Jason Todd

Summary:

The morning was surprisingly not bad after waking up in the Wayne manor instead of his shitty apartment, Jason brushed his teeth and ate breakfast afterwards before going down to the cave to patrol like usual.

Chapter Text

POV: Jason Todd

Jason had just got back from patrol, bleeding from his side because one of the goons had gotten lucky and stabbed him, out of anger—he shot the goon's arm. Bruce gave him a hard scolding on why he shouldn't used real bullets and that he could kill someone, the usual thing.

Eventually, Jason took off his helmet and placed it near the batcomputer as he headed to the infirmary before Alfred physically dragged him.

After Jason was patched up, he was ready to meet the outlaws, specifically Roy. Jason left the infirmary only to see—His stupid ass siblings surrounding the batcomputer, his helmet was there! He might need to squeeze past them to grab it.

Jason walked over to the crowd and attempted to squeeze through.

"God, what are you fuckers even looking at? Let me pass!"

When Jason managed to get a good view—they were surrounding his helmet, not the monitor and holy shit was the sight mortifying.

Dick was holding the helmet in his hands while Tim was pointing at something behind the helmet, he was pointing at some initials—Specifically 'R.H'. Roy had mother fucking carved his initials into Jason's helmet without knowing.

"Look at this! 'R.H', you can NOT tell me that's not Roy's initials, who else has initials like that?" Dick exclaimed.

"How did he even get his initials onto Jay's helmet? Did Jason do it?" Tim chimed in.

Jason's eyes widened, fuck he had completely forgotten the fact that they didn't know he and Roy were dating, he shoved Tim aside—earning an "Ow!" from him and grabbed the helmet.

"Hey! That's my fucking belonging! What are you idiots doing touching it?" Jason growled at Dick who just raised his hands up in mock surrender.

All eyes on him now, well fuck.

"Explain the initials, Todd." Damian basically demanded for the answer.

"Look, it's none of your business, forget this and I'll be on my way." Jason scooted out of the crowd, stumbling a bit when he made it out into the open.

"Oh I don't think so! Initials on someone's belongings can only mean one thing." Steph smirked, standing in front of him.

Dating. Cass signed behind Steph. Jason felt like dying, why did he have to be in a family so nosy?

"Me and Roy are not dating! He just carved his initials in my helmet to bullshit with me." Jason waved them off, walking over to his bike, only to be stopped by Dick who had his arm over Duke's shoulders(Duke got dragged by Dick).

"Nuh uh! Definitely dating, right Duke?" Dick glanced at Duke who sheepishly smiled and nodded.

"Oh just fucking leave me alone, we aren't dating or anything. If I was, I would've asked for advice right?" Jason countered back.

Everyone glanced around before seemingly agreeing, did they all think he's too stupid for a relationship? And even if he doesn't know what to do, he has Bruce to ask.

"Alright you're off the hook, for now at least." Tim shrugged.

"We'll keep digging for evidence!" Steph exclaimed.

Jason just rolled his eyes and hopped onto his bike, he was so going to have a talk with Roy later.

Notes:

I actually forgot I had wrote some unfinished fics, this is another oneshot because I can't do shit. Hopefully the next chapter isn't bad and maybe longer.

Notes:

I'm so sorry that it was short but it's mostly like one shots or something 🥹
