Chapter Text
It started relatively small, before escalating drastically—an empty blanket closet, pillows no longer on the couch, blankets missing from Mira and Zoey’s beds.
One day, Mira came home to find all the blankets and pillows gone from her room. She froze in the doorway, staring at her stripped bed. “ZOEY??” She yelled.
“YEAH?”
“DO YOU HAVE MY BLANKETS?”
“NO?”
“…”
“…”
“…”
“RUMI.” They yelled in unison.
Sure enough, they found Rumi on the floor of her room, snuggled in a giant pile of pillows and blankets.
“Rumi,” Mira sighed, crossing her arms. “Babe,”
Her girlfriend blinked slowly, her eyes big, and snuggled further into the pile.
“You could’ve just asked,” Zoey told her. Rumi shrugged, grinning.
“That’s—” the pinkette buried her face in her hands. “That’s the cutest fucking thing I’ve ever seen,”
“Be strong, Mimi,” the youngest patted her on the shoulder, walking over to her other girlfriend. She crouched down, opening her mouth to say something…only for Rumi’s hand to shoot out, grab her arm, and pull her in. “AGGSYEHEBEB—”
Zoey is so talented, she has the ability to verbally keyboard smash. Wow. So amazing.
Anyways—
The maknae flailed as Rumi tucked her into the nest.
“Save me!” She yelped, voice muffled.
The purple-haired girl nuzzled her cheek against Zoey’s chest, snuggling up against her.
“Mmmm…Miraaaaa,” Rumi turned her head slightly to look at her other girlfriend, making her eyes wide and pleading. “C’mere?”
The taller girl sighed, smiling, and went over to the nest, joining her girlfriends in the pile of blankets, wrapping her arms around them as they both crawled on top of her.
That’s how Bobby found them, four hours later, sleeping comfortably.
